Where Could the SHIB Price Go Next?If people keep buying and the burns stay over 200 million SHIB a day, the first real stop is $0.00000600. That number tends to pull in short-term traders looking for a quick move.

Push past that cleanly, and you could be looking at $0.00000640 to $0.00000660, especially if big wallets keep stacking and more DeFi projects start using SHIB.

But here's the other side. After a 33% jump like that, things can cool off fast. The first floor to keep an eye on is $0.00000520. Below that, the old breakout zone around $0.00000480 to $0.00000490 is the next safety net.

As long as the Shiba Inu price stays above those levels, the bigger uptrend stays intact, even if we get a pullback that shakes out some weak hands.

However, the SHIB price is climbing because the burns have picked up speed. Big holders started buying again. Trading volume went through the roof. And more DeFi projects are actually using SHIB now, which brings in more buyers.

If the bulls can hold that breakout level, this run could keep going over the next few days.

But fair warning, those overbought numbers mean we are probably in for some wild swings either way

Ten once-prominent cryptocurrency networks now carry a combined market value of $12.06 billion, trading an average of 97.13% below their all-time highs.

A recent report by Taurex noted that recovery needs across the group range from roughly 21.5x for Avalanche, the largest of the ten at $2.91 billion, to roughly 323x for Internet Computer, which sits furthest from its peak at 99.7% below.

Dogecoin's most recent advance coincides with a significant increase in market activity, which suggests that new capital is entering rather than current traders merely switching positions, in contrast to price spikes that happen on weak participation. Crypto exchange BitMart to wind down trading platform by January 2027


BitMart will shut down its crypto trading platform through an orderly wind-down process after determining that current operating conditions, market circumstances and its long-term strategy no longer support continuing operations, the company said this week.

In a statement, the exchange said it will gradually stop accepting new users, suspend fiat and crypto deposits, prevent new futures positions and spot orders, and phase out copy trading, grid trading, API trading and other automated services beginning July 26, 2026.

Trading across spot and futures markets will cease on Aug. 26, while investment products including Earn, staking, lending and Launchpad will be retired separately. The exchange expects to officially cease platform operations on Jan. 31, 2027, although users will temporarily retain access to their accounts for withdrawals and historical records afterward.

Users are advised to withdraw assets as early as possible by completing KYC verification, closing open positions and submitting withdrawal requests before the Aug. 26 deadline.

The firm said withdrawals will remain available but may be subject to identity verification, blockchain risk analysis, Travel Rule compliance, sanctions screening and source-of-funds checks, with processing times potentially extended during periods of heavy demand.

Report: Kalshi Accuses Netflix of Defamation Over Trailer for New Prediction Markets Film



Kalshi wants the trailer pulled and a public retraction issued before the film premieres Sunday, July 26. The company says the trailer uses a fabricated trade slip to suggest Kalshi allowed sports betting in Nevada in violation of a state court order, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter and CNN, which obtained the cease and desist letter.

The upcoming documentary tracks the rise of prediction markets, platforms where people trade contracts tied to real events. Netflix says more than $5.6 billion moved through Kalshi and Polymarket alone on the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Reports state that CFTC Chairman Michael Selig, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour, and Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan all appear in the film, which comes from producer Words + Pictures with Steve Yaccino as showrunner.

The Disputed Scene

The trailer, released earlier this week, shows a private gathering in Las Vegas during World Cup final weekend. It has been claimed that one guest in the trailer holds up a phone displaying what looks like a Kalshi trade slip and describes a $5,000 bet on Spain, which beat Argentina 1-0 in the July 19 final.

Kalshi says the image tells a different story than the trailer implies. The receipt is dated May 16, 2025, more than a year before the events shown on screen. The phone display reads “crop,” which Kalshi says shows the person was viewing a saved image rather than an active trade. The company also says the slip does not match its interface and uses the phrase “bet slip,” language it claims has never appeared on its platform.

Kalshi marketing head Brandon Beckhardt said the company flagged the issue to Netflix before the trailer went out. “We flagged the fake trade slip to Netflix. They said they’d pull the trailer. They haven’t,” Beckhardt said in a statement on X. H

Small farmers, construction firms, and independent retailers carry enormous climate-driven financial risk but have almost no practical way to hedge it. The weather derivatives market—designed for precisely that—sits firmly in the hands of large energy companies, insurers, and agricultural conglomerates. A CoinDesk op-ed now argues that tokenization could be the mechanism that finally pushes these instruments beyond institutional walls and onto Main Street balance sheets.

A market built for the few

Conventional weather derivatives—temperature-based contracts, rainfall swaps, hurricane bonds—require capital, prime brokerage relationships, and legal infrastructure that shut out smaller players. A mid-sized farm facing a drought can’t easily buy a tailored seasonal payout. The paper-based and over-the-counter nature of these contracts adds cost and complexity. In practice, most of the economy absorbs weather shocks directly.

Tokenization changes the math. By representing weather-linked cash flows as smart contracts on public blockchains, a farmer in Brazil or a roofing contractor in Florida could, in theory, purchase a parametric hedge without going through a bank. Oracles feed verified weather data on-chain, automation handles settlement, and fractional ownership lets users buy only the protection they need. The core logic isn’t new to DeFi, but the real-world impact would be.
