Top Analyst: This XRP Biggest Breakout In Years Could Trigger $6 and $30 Targets

XRP has reached a pivotal stage in its long-term market structure, according to crypto analyst Egrag Crypto, who, in a tweet, expressed his belief that the digital asset is now undergoing what he describes as a macro breakout retest following a breakout from a multi-year symmetrical triangle.

The analyst maintains that this phase could determine whether XRP resumes its broader uptrend, with potential price targets of $6.40 in the medium term and $30 over the longer term if key technical conditions are met.

Egrag pointed to an article published by crypto media outlet CoinPaper, which outlined his latest technical outlook for XRP. The report explained that the analyst sees the current market structure as one of the most significant developments for XRP in years, provided the asset continues to defend important support levels and regain critical resistance zones.

U.S. regulator warns prediction markets against cutting corners in event contracts.The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which has claimed a role as the leading regulator of prediction markets firms run by companies such as Kalshi, Coinbase, Polymarket and Crypto.com, issued an advisory on Friday reminding the businesses that they shouldn't cut corners with far-ranging contract certifications meant to encompass a wide array of events.

The agency said that "broad, template-style certifications should not be submitted," marking the second time in recent months that the regulator has had to warn about overly generalized submissions.

Many of the "designated contract markets" regulated by the CFTC "continue to self-certify event contracts" (in other words, prediction market contracts) as broad templates "without supplying the terms and conditions of each proposed permutation and a concise explanation and analysis with respect to the product’s terms and conditions, the underlying commodity, and the product’s compliance," the agency said.

Solana (SOL) developers have introduced SIMD-0553, a proposal that could significantly change how transaction fees work by replacing part of the current flat fee with a resource-based model.
Under the proposal:
The current 5,000-lamport base fee would be restructured.
Validators would receive a fixed 2,500-lamport inclusion fee.
A separate resource fee—based on compute, account data, write locks, and other network resources—would be 100% burned.
Light transactions could become cheaper, while resource-intensive transactions would pay more.
According to the proposal, this approach would better reflect the actual cost each transaction places on the network. Estimates suggest daily SOL burned could increase from roughly 648 SOL today to 1,500–9,000 SOL, depending on network activity and the final parameters.
