Crypto exchange BitMart to wind down trading platform by January 2027


BitMart will shut down its crypto trading platform through an orderly wind-down process after determining that current operating conditions, market circumstances and its long-term strategy no longer support continuing operations, the company said this week.

In a statement, the exchange said it will gradually stop accepting new users, suspend fiat and crypto deposits, prevent new futures positions and spot orders, and phase out copy trading, grid trading, API trading and other automated services beginning July 26, 2026.

Trading across spot and futures markets will cease on Aug. 26, while investment products including Earn, staking, lending and Launchpad will be retired separately. The exchange expects to officially cease platform operations on Jan. 31, 2027, although users will temporarily retain access to their accounts for withdrawals and historical records afterward.

Users are advised to withdraw assets as early as possible by completing KYC verification, closing open positions and submitting withdrawal requests before the Aug. 26 deadline.

The firm said withdrawals will remain available but may be subject to identity verification, blockchain risk analysis, Travel Rule compliance, sanctions screening and source-of-funds checks, with processing times potentially extended during periods of heavy demand.

Ethereum ETFs lose $70.7M as BlackRock leads withdrawals - What's next for ET

Ethereum ETF outflows raised fresh concerns over institutional demand after U.S. spot ETFs recorded a $70.7 million net outflow on July 24.

BlackRock accounted for the largest share of that activity after investors withdrew $52.8 million from its $ETH fund.

The figures interrupted a period of sustained inflows and shifted attention toward whether large investors had started locking in profits.

However, one trading session rarely defines a broader trend, especially after weeks of consistent institutional accumulation.

Instead, the latest withdrawal suggested that some investors had adopted a more cautious stance near key price resistance.

As a result, Ethereum faced greater scrutiny because sustained ETF outflows could reduce institutional demand and weaken bullish sentiment if similar withdrawals continued over the coming sessions.

Exchange inflows add another layer of caution

On-chain spot flow data also reflected a subtle shift after Ethereum recorded a $5.92 million net inflow into exchanges during the latest session.

Positive netflows generally indicate that more $ETH moved onto exchanges than left them, increasing the amount of readily tradable supply.

The reading reflects aggregated investor votes and signals a market leaning heavily bearish.For context, community sentiment measures on a scale of -10 to 10, and the present reading sits close to extreme bearishness.The market analysis further points to sell pressure, with the holder count slipping from 132,070 to 132,040. The drop is small in raw terms, though it may signal larger holders trimming positions instead of a broad retail exit.

This sell-off may stem from holders having yet to receive a payout this quarter, a sharp contrast to Q1 2026 when the protocol paid $3.06 million to holders.EtherFi has stayed largely profitable so far, a signal investors hold strong confidence in the asset.

The protocol has generated $2.39 million this month, 25 days into the quarter, which points to healthy fundamentals and underlying utility.

For context, the strong chance of an eventual price surge ties back to the protocol’s fee generation, which has run high.The chart above shows the protocol has continued to generate fees, with the figure reaching roughly $390,000. The steady climb underscores elevated utility.

Total value locked (TVL), which tracks the tokens deposited into the protocol, shows roughly $201 million has flowed in over about five days—a sign investors are depositing their assets for the long run

По данным SoSovalue, 24 июля чистый дневной приток средств в Dogecoin ETF составил $0. Аналогичная ситуация наблюдалась 22 и 23 июля, когда фонды также не зафиксировали новых поступлений.

Единственным исключением на этой неделе стало 21 июля, когда Dogecoin ETF привлекли $345 130. Это стало первым положительным притоком с 6 июля, прервав серию дней с нулевыми потоками.

Несмотря на слабую текущую активность, совокупный чистый приток в Dogecoin ETF уже достиг $12,12 млн. Кроме того, текущая неделя стала первой положительной по притокам с недели, завершившейся 18 июня.
