Japan Registration Opens Another Market Route

Shib announced the SHIB Japan milestone through its latest social media update. The post said SHIB joined six assets supported by Laser Digital Japan. It followed the company's completion of regulatory registration in Japan.

The initial asset group includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and SHIB. Laser Digital Japan completed its registration on August 21. The registration followed four years without another new exchange-provider approval.

Laser Digital Japan is backed by Nomura and will initially provide liquidity. Its stated focus includes domestic virtual-asset service providers. The company also plans services targeting institutional digital-asset trading.

Japan's regulatory framework is also moving toward broader oversight. Recent reforms are likely to contribute to enhanced supervision of crypto assets. This will be in effect from 2027 onwards. .
