Edwards’ note argues that quantum risk has moved from a fringe topic to a timeline problem.

He cites a threshold of roughly 2,300 logical qubits as sufficient to threaten Bitcoin’s current cryptography and estimates, based on compiled industry forecasts, that a cryptographically relevant quantum event is likely by 2030 and increasingly probable by 2031.

According to him:

“Bitcoin Q-Day is likely to occur by 2030 (60% chance) and probable by 2031 (80% chance).”



However, his more immediate concern is Bitcoin’s response time.

Edwards estimates it would take roughly two years, and possibly one to three years, to move a majority of active users to quantum-resistant wallets and code, even in an aggressive scenario

Dogecoin is testing key support and resistance levels, and bulls would need to breach Supertrend resistance for a potential breakout.

Dogecoin ($DOGE) has experienced a 1.9% decline in the past 24 hours, currently trading at $0.1219. Over the last 24 hours, the price has hit a low of $0.1214 and a high of $0.1271, showing a general downtrend within the period. During this press, the price is trading at the lowest end of its 1-day range.

This decline maintains the trend seen over the past week, where Dogecoin has lost approximately 3.8% of its value. Over the last 30 days, $DOGE has also shown a modest 1.2% decline.

The chart highlights a sharp decline in price over the past few days, with the token losing momentum after an earlier-week surge. Despite this, $DOGE has managed to stabilize above the $0.121 support level, which traders will be closely watching to see if it can hold.

Bulls are back in the game after a correction, according to CoinMarketCap.





$DOGE/USD

$DOGE is one of the biggest gainers today, rising by 3.75%.





On the hourly chart, the rate of $DOGE is going down after a false breakout of the local resistance at $0.1273. If the drop continues, one can expect a test of the $0.1250 zone by tomorrow.





On the longer time frame, one should focus on the daily bar's closure in terms of the nearest level at $0.1279. If it breaks out, the accumulated energy might be enough for an ongoing rise to the $0.13 area.





From the midterm point of view, the situation is less positive for buyers. The rate of $DOGE is near the support level, which means sellers' pressure remains relevant.

As none of the sides is dominating, sideways trading in the range of $0.12-$0.13 is the most likely scenario.
