Исследователи Google обнаружили новый тип вредоносного ПО, способного взламывать iPhone и красть фразы восстановления криптовалютных кошельков, и призывают пользователей быть осторожными.

По данным группы Google по анализу угроз (GTIG), они идентифицировали «Coruna», новый набор эксплойтов для iOS, способный взламывать iPhone под управлением iOS версий от 13.0 до 17.2.1.

Команда заявила, что, как полагают, это программное обеспечение распространилось в декабре прошлого года через многочисленные поддельные китайские финансовые сайты, включая сайты, имитирующие криптовалютные биржи.

Этот набор, включающий пять цепочек атак и 23 уязвимости, нацелен на вспомогательные фразы памяти, полученные из зашифрованных кошельков.

По словам исследователей, когда пользователи с уязвимыми iPhone посещают эти вредоносные сайты, код атаки запускается автоматически. Исследователи также подчеркнули, что вредоносное ПО может извлекать конфиденциальные данные из криптографических приложений, таких как Uniswap (UNI) и MetaMask.
