Over the past thirty days, the blockchain has recorded 263.3K developer activity events with a 40.29% decline. Additionally, these events witnessed 1.1K contributors, expressing a 13.23% drop. In addition to this, $BNB Chain has become the 2nd top player, witnessing 121.8K developer activity events with a 40.72% decrease. At the same time, the respective events had 603 contributors, highlighting a 17.62% dip.Following that, Polygon has become the 3rd top blockchain ecosystem when it comes to developer activity over the past 30 days. In this respect, it saw 100.4K developer activity events, displaying a 40.85% plunge. Additionally, the 452 contributors of these events show a 16.14% decrease. Additionally, as the 4th top name on the list, Arbitrum accounted for 79K events with a 45.22% decline, while its 373 contributors expressed an 18.02% dip.monthly developer activity events indicated a 45.3% dip. The reasons are straightforward. First, miners can accumulate bitcoin at a production cost that is often below the prevailing market price, giving them an advantage that most corporate buyers cannot match. Second, many publicly traded miners have spent the past few years building out artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, creating a second line of business that helps diversify revenue beyond bitcoin mining alone.

Riot Platforms, for instance, is up 73% year to date, the best performance among the top ten holders. Cleanspark has gained 39% as it builds out mining data centers and battery storage projects across North America. Mara Holdings is up 31% on the strength of its own mining and treasury strategy, holding 36,303 $BTC while continuing to expand its mining footprint.Twenty One Capital (XXI) only launched in March 2025, but it moved quickly to become the second-largest corporate bitcoin holder. The Austin-based firm was backed by crypto interests, including Tether, and initially led by entrepreneur Jack Mallers, who departed the company last week. Its entire business model centers on giving stock market investors direct exposure to bitcoin’s price, without the software or mining operations that other companies on this list also run.

Expert Opinion: "Bitcoin Is in a Very Critical Zone, Caught Between Two Fires"

In his latest technical analysis video, Benjamin Cowen described Bitcoin's (BTC) current situation as "caught between two fires."

Cowen stated that Bitcoin is caught between technical levels, four-year cyclical dynamics, and global stock market movements, and shared his critical predictions for the coming months.

It was stated that the Bitcoin price has been fluctuating between the Bear Market Resistance Band above and the 200-Week Moving Average below, failing to make a clear directional breakout. It was also mentioned that the seasonal strengthening window behind the rebound seen in July is expected to end within 2 to 4 weeks.

The analyst warned that, as in past midterm election/ cycle years (2018, 2022), the gains made in July could be reversed by weakness in August and September.

He added that a potential 10-20% correction in US stock markets (S&P 500) in August or September could be a catalyst to trigger the final cycle bottom in Bitcoin.

Cowen described the current market structure as a less volatile version of 2018, suggesting that a final liquidity event could occur in the last quarter of the year that would reset on-chain indicators
