Exchange inflows add another layer of caution

On-chain spot flow data also reflected a subtle shift after Ethereum recorded a $5.92 million net inflow into exchanges during the latest session.

Positive netflows generally indicate that more $ETH moved onto exchanges than left them, increasing the amount of readily tradable supply.

Although the inflow remained relatively modest, it contrasted with the recent pattern of stronger exchange outflows that had previously limited immediate selling pressure.

Meanwhile, the ETF withdrawal and positive spot netflow pointed in the same direction, showing that fresh supply had started returning to the market.

Even so, the figures remained far below the large exchange inflows that often accompany aggressive selloffs.

Consequently, buyers still retained an opportunity to absorb the additional supply before it significantly altered Ethereum’s broader market structure.

После непродолжительного всплеска интереса ETF на Dogecoin вновь вернулись к нулевой динамике притока капитала.

По данным SoSovalue, 24 июля чистый дневной приток средств в Dogecoin ETF cоставил $0. Аналогичная ситуация наблюдалась 22 и 23 июля, когда фонды также не зафиксировали новых поступлений.

Единственным исключением на этой неделе стало 21 июля, когда Dogecoin ETF привлекли $345 130. Это стало первым положительным притоком с 6 июля, прервав серию дней с нулевыми потоками.

Несмотря на слабую текущую активность, совокупный чистый приток в Dogecoin ETF уже достиг $12,12 млн. Кроме того, текущая неделя стала первой положительной по притокам с недели, завершившейся 18 июня.

Аналитики отмечают, что дни с нулевыми потоками не являются чем-то необычным для новых или менее ликвидных криптовалютных ETF, особенно тех, которые отслеживают активы, отличные от Bitcoin и Ethereum.

According to Santiment, the ratio of positive-to-negative Ethereum commentary has dropped to one of its lowest levels in recent weeks, a pattern that previously preceded a 14% rally on June 27 and a 7% advance on July 11. While the latest pullback has weakened short-term momentum, the recurrence of this sentiment extreme has renewed speculation over whether Ethereum is nearing another contrarian buying opportunity or preparing for a deeper correction.

Ethereum Exchange Reserves Continue to Decline

Ethereum's exchange reserves continue to trend lower, reinforcing the broader accumulation narrative despite the recent price pullback. According to CryptoQuant data, the amount of $ETH held across centralized exchanges has declined to 15.1 million $ETH, down from over 21 million $ETH a year ago. This marks one of the lowest reserve levels in recent years, indicating that investors are continuing to withdraw Ethereum from exchanges rather than keeping it available for immediate selling.

The persistent decline in exchange reserves suggests that a growing portion of $ETH is being moved into self-custody, staking protocols, or long-term investment wallets. Historically, shrinking exchange balances reduce the liquid supply available on the market, easing sell-side pressure and creating a more favorable environment for sustained price appreciation if demand strengthens
