The charts showed that LDO had printed a double bottom pattern, and price action had broken above the neckline at $0.3366. The altcoin has been trading between the neckline and the bottom at around $0.2725.

Staying above the neckline would suggest a potential market structure shift, putting the $0.68 to $0.70 zone as a target for bulls. The Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) peaked at 4.04 million LDO as of writing, which was the maximum buying pressure of the day.

Bitcoin Price Has Not Reached Its Real Bottom, And A ‘Big Storm’ Is Coming
While others argue that the Bitcoin price has already found its bottom and could be gearing up for a bullish reversal, one crypto analyst has rejected these claims, expecting further downside instead. According to Marmot, a crypto expert on X, Bitcoin has not yet reached its true price floor. He warns that the flagship cryptocurrency could crash below $45,000 before any sustainable recovery to the upside takes shape.

Bitcoin Price Action Mirrors 2022 Bear Market

In a recent X post, Marmot shared a bearish analysis of Bitcoin, comparing its current bear market to past cycles. The analyst noted that Bitcoin’s recent price action closely mirrors patterns seen in the 2022 bear market.

Notably, Bitcoin has already fallen more than 40% from its all-time high above $126,000 in October 2025. Since that peak, the flagship cryptocurrency has trended downward, recording brief price rallies, which Marmot has described as “fake recoveries.” These upside moves temporarily lure investors into the market before prices reverse sharply downwards, leading to losses.

To support his bearish outlook, Marmot has divided Bitcoin’s current bear market into three phases. The first phase was completed after the cryptocurrency crashed by over 54%, now trading at around above $74,000. According to him, the market is now in the second bear phase, a period characterized by repeated bull traps, fakeouts, and continued volatility designed to wipe out short-term investors.

The most recent bull trap was observed after the US-Iran ceasefire announcement, which sent Bitcoin surging briefly above $73,000. However, this rally proved short-lived as the price quickly reversed toward $71,000 before rebounding again above $74,000 at the time of writing.

$TON Blockchain Gets New Upgrade “Catchain 2.0”

The $TON blockchain activated its Catchain 2.0 upgrade on April 9 and April 10. This upgrade is aimed at changing the consensus to enhance the performance of networks. This decision was made by validators after voting on the network.

In the official post on X, Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, announced the completion of this upgrade. This upgrade has reduced the block production time from around 2.5 seconds to 400 milliseconds. This makes the network 6 times faster than its previous version. The network speed and throughput have increased by around 10 times. This will improve the speed of payments, trades, and mini-apps available inside Telegram, just like sending a message.

The $TON blockchain just got upgraded and is now 10× faster.

This upgrade has introduced a modern networking protocol called QUIC to help validators communicate easily. Durov called this the first in the 7-part “Make $TON Great Again.”

$TON blockchain is continuously expanding its reach through various developments. Last year, Chainlink expanded its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Data Streams to the $TON blockchain.

Switzerland’s Crypto Valley funding rose 37% in 2025 as TON led deals
Switzerland’s Crypto Valley captured 47% of European blockchain venture funding in 2025, raising $728 million across 31 deals, according to an annual report released Wednesday by venture firm CV VC.

Globally, blockchain venture funding rose 30% to $15.5 billion across 986 deals last year, while Crypto Valley’s total climbed 37% from $531 million in 2024, the report said.

One deal did much of the heavy lifting. The Open Network (TON) accounted for $400 million of Crypto Valley’s 2025 funding haul, followed by Sygnum Bank at $58 million, stablecoin platform M0 at $40 million, Impossible Cloud Network at $34 million and CratD2C at $30 million, according to the report.

Blockchain networks attracted 62% of total funding, followed by infrastructure at 14%, centralized financial services at 10% and decentralized finance applications at 10%, the report said.

Crypto Valley’s $728 million accounted for 47% of the total VC blockchain funding across Europe and 5% of the global blockchain funding in 2025, highlighting the Swiss blockchain ecosystem’s growing role in the European blockchain industry.

“Nearly half of all European blockchain investment is now flowing into Crypto Valley,” said Mathias Ruch, founder and CEO of Crypto Valley, calling it a sign of a “maturing ecosystem” focused on infrastructure, finance and the convergence of “frontier technologies” driving digital innovation.
