The announcement emphasizes that both platforms share a vision to move past the traditional data ownership models, in which corporations own and control data, to a decentralized framework in which users have sovereignty of their digital footprints.

The essence of the technology of BAISHI lies in the fact that it is able to transform the in-game actions of players into monetizable on-chain data. This implies that all the actions that a player performs in a game have the potential to train artificial intelligence models, creating value that is directly owned by the user. TD Cowen, TD Securities, and several legal analysts warn that the CLARITY Act could disappear entirely from the congressional agenda if it fails to pass the Senate before summer. Summary: Jaret Seiberg, managing director of TD Cowen's Washington research group, warned in a January report that Senate Democrats might refuse to support the CLARITY Act if they believe they can overturn the House. The Senate Banking Committee's deliberations, originally scheduled for January 15, were postponed after Coinbase withdrew its support hours before the vote and have not yet been formally rescheduled. As TheStreet reported, TD Cowen's Seiberg warned that resolving the impasse requires President Trump's personal intervention to force compromises. The May deadline was not set arbitrarily.

TD Cowen said the recent White House report on stablecoins is unlikely to change political hurdles for the crypto bill, as banks are expected to continue opposing it.

The firm said the path could become even tougher as the report suggests the proposed compromise on stablecoin yield may not get the President’s support.

The recent White House report on stablecoins is unlikely to ease political hurdles for crypto legislation, investment bank TD Cowen said, adding that the path for the Clarity Act could become even more difficult.

The report, released by the White House Council of Economic Advisers on Wednesday, said prohibiting yield on stablecoins is unlikely to have a meaningful impact on bank lending. It said most stablecoin reserves flow back into the banking system, and only a small share is effectively removed from lending.

"At baseline calibration, eliminating stablecoin yield increases bank lending by $2.1 billion, which represents a net increase of 0.02% of total loans," the report said. "Producing lending effects in the hundreds of billions requires simultaneously assuming the stablecoin share sextuples, all reserves shift into segregated deposits, and the Federal Reserve abandons its ample-reserves framework."

The report aligns more closely with the crypto industry’s view than that of banks, which have argued that stablecoin rewards could lead to trillions in deposit outflows and impact lending activity.

TD Cowen said as long as banks continue to see stablecoins as a threat to deposits, they are likely to oppose crypto legislation unless it includes a clear ban on yield. The firm said the White House report is unlikely to convince small banks, which are expected to question both the assumptions and conclusions.
