Bitcoin Price Forecast: BTC Retests Key Breakout Level

Bitcoin is trading above $74,000 on Wednesday, after reaching a two-month high of $76,038 the previous day. BTC has broken the upper boundary of an ascending triangle (constructed by connecting highs and lows with two trendlines since early February) and is holding above the 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $71,124 after bouncing off it earlier this week.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart is hovering around 60, and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) histogram remains positive, indicating sustained bullish momentum as long as BTC holds above the breakout point near $73,400, the upper boundary of the ascending triangle.

 Downside, initial support lies at the 50-day EMA at $71,124. A deeper correction would expose the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level at $68,950 (drawn from the January 14 high to the February 6 low), an ascending trendline support (triangle pattern) near $67,412, and eventually a more distant horizontal level near $62,950.
