Analyst Issues Bullish Warning for Bitcoin (BTC)! “Expect This Level Within One or Two Months!”

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), is trading around $74,600 after a strong week.

Analysts say the rally has stalled ahead of the expiration of the two-week ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran next week.

However, one analyst predicts that Bitcoin could rise to $125,000 in the coming months.

Speaking to Coindesk, ZeroStack CEO Daniel Reis-Faria stated that perpetual interest rates on Bitcoin are extremely negative, which could trigger a significant price increase.

Noting that Bitcoin’s perpetual term funding rates are quite negative, the analyst said, “this indicates that investors are heavily shorting, expecting a decline.”

According to the analyst, this increases the likelihood of a sharp short squeeze that could push the Bitcoin price towards $125,000 in the coming months.

At this point, Faria believes Bitcoin could reach $125,000 within the next one to two months. Faria bases this prediction on the funding rate of $BTC perpetual futures, which has fallen to its lowest level since 2023.

According to the analyst, if the Bitcoin price continues to rise, this could lead to a mass forced liquidation of short positions, causing a short position squeeze that would accelerate the price rally.

Crypto markets are seeing steady gains as Bitcoin holds above $75,000. XRP and Dogecoin lead altcoin rallies. The uptrend is driven by easing geopolitical tensions, softer dollar pressure, and growing optimism around global crypto regulations.

Bitcoin trades at $75,107, up 0.98%, with $38.3 billion volume and 58.5% market dominance.

XRP rises 3.35% to $1.40, Dogecoin gains 3.57% to $0.0968, Hyperliquid up 3.14% as oil falls to $94.49.

Crypto prices today are in the green zone as a mix of geopolitical breakthroughs, positive macro signals, and regulatory developments push the market higher. Bitcoin is leading the charge. Meanwhile, altcoins like XRP and Dogecoin are also posting solid gains. The global market cap is up 0.96% at $2.54 trillion at press time.

Bitcoin is up 0.98% in the last 24 hours at $75,107. It has a market cap of over $1.5 trillion. Trading volume is around $38.3 billion, showing healthy market activity. The world's largest cryptocurrency continues to hold its ground above the $75,000 mark, a level many traders consider psychologically important.

CoinSwitch Markets Desk noted, “Funding rates have been negative for 46 days, meaning many traders are positioning against BTC,  which can fuel a sharp rally if prices rise. Bitcoin dominance is steady at 58.5%, showing its control over the market. With volatility tightening, $75,000 remains the key level to watch for a real breakout or another rejection.”

Iran Opens the Strait of Hormuz, Trump Thanks Them! Bitcoin (BTC) Rises While Oil Prices Fall! Here’s Everything You Need to Know


With the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran nearing its end, a second round of talks is expected to take place.

According to Axios, the US and Iran will likely hold talks in Islamabad on April 19.

Axios also reported that Iran said the deal was for the US to release $200 billion in frozen Iranian funds in exchange for handing over its stockpile of enriched uranium.

Discussions on this matter are reportedly ongoing.

In addition to these reports of talks, statements were also issued by Iran. According to these statements, Iran officially reopened the Strait of Hormuz to ALL commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire period.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stated, “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage of all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared fully open for the remainder of the ceasefire period, via the coordinated route already announced by the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

US President Donald Trump thanked Iran for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Following the Iranian Foreign Minister’s announcement that commercial shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz would resume, WTI and Brent oil prices fell by more than 6% during the day, dropping to $86.51 and $88.53 per barrel respectively.

A ratio above 1 indicates that buy orders are dominating sell orders, a sign that aggressive buyers are actively entering the market.

This creates a classic bullish divergence, where price remains relatively subdued, but underlying demand continues to strengthen. Historically, such conditions often appear before a broader reversal or expansion phase begins.

On-Chain Activity Stabilizes as Selling Pressure Eases
Beyond derivatives, on-chain data is also beginning to show early signs of stabilization. Metrics such as active addresses and network growth have stopped declining and are now moving sideways, indicating that participation is no longer weakening. While this does not yet reflect aggressive expansion, it signals that the market may be transitioning out of its previous downtrend phase.
