Known as TradeXYZ, the platform has recently listed pre-market perpetual contracts for Cerebras Systems (CBRS) and SpaceX (SPCX), allowing traders to speculate on the value of these unlisted equities before they debut on public exchanges.According to a report by The Block, Hyperliquid’s pricing for Cerebras closely tracked the company’s real-time opening price during its listing event. This correlation suggests that decentralized derivatives markets could offer a more dynamic and accessible pricing mechanism for unlisted stocks, which have traditionally been valued through sporadic private funding rounds or secondary market transactions limited to institutional investors.

For retail investors, who are often shut out of pre-IPO opportunities, TradeXYZ presents a novel avenue for gaining exposure to high-growth private companies. The platform allows users to trade perpetual futures—contracts without an expiration date—that mirror the underlying stock’s price movements, providing a way to speculate on valuation changes without owning the actual shares.

Amir Hajian, a researcher at the algorithmic trading firm Keyrock, commented that perpetual futures markets could solve two persistent problems in unlisted stock trading: low liquidity and the difficulty of executing leveraged trades. “By creating a continuous, liquid market for these assets, platforms like TradeXYZ can provide more accurate price discovery and greater flexibility for traders,” Hajian noted.

As on-chain data reveals a sharp rise in exchange inflows, Shiba Inu ($SHIB) is under fresh bearish pressure, while the larger memecoin market continues to struggle with significant liquidations and lackluster momentum.According to recent metrics, over 303 billion $SHIB entered exchanges in the past day, and Exchange Inflow (Top10) surpassed 6.1 billion tokens. The overall exchange outflow, however, did not keep up, indicating that more holders are getting ready to sell rather than transfer tokens into self-custody.The consistent drop in exchange reserves is one of the most obvious warning indicators. The Exchange Reserve USD metric dropped more than 3%, indicating that the dollar value of $SHIB sitting on exchanges continues to decline alongside price weakness, even though reserves fell 0.34% over the previous day.

There was a slight increase in active addresses, but it seems that transfer activity rather than actual accumulation caused the increase.

Additionally, the TradingView chart shows a declining structure. After repeatedly failing to recover important moving averages, $SHIB recently broke out of a rising wedge formation. The fact that the price is still below the 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages shows that sellers are still in charge of the overall trend.

After failing to hold above the neutral 50 level, the RSI also saw a significant decline, heading toward oversold territory. This typically indicates growing selling pressure rather than accumulation when combined with rising exchange inflows.

A hacker drained approximately $11.58 million in assets from the Verus-Ethereum Bridge in a single transaction on May 17, 2026 — targeting a cross-chain infrastructure project that had explicitly marketed itself as immune to the kind of smart contract exploit that just gutted it.

The exploit was flagged in real time by blockchain security firm Blockaid, with details subsequently amplified by on-chain intelligence account @coinxtreme_en on X.

According to the post, the drainer wallet — 0x65Cb8b128Bf6e690761044CCECA422bb239C25F9 — received approximately 1,625 ETH worth roughly $3.43 million, 103.57 tBTC worth approximately $7.96 million, and 147,000 USDC in a single outbound transfer. Most of the stolen assets were subsequently converted to ETH through Uniswap, per the X post.

The Marketing That Made The Ethereum Attack Worse
The attack lands with particular force given how Verus positioned its bridge. The project’s homepage carried language stating the bridge was “validated by protocol rules, not custom code” — a direct appeal to users fatigued by smart contract vulnerabilities that have defined DeFi’s most damaging exploits.

The Verus architecture relied on cryptographic proofs, notary witnesses, and protocol-level validation rather than the custom contract logic that attackers have repeatedly targeted across other bridges, per the @coinxtreme_en post. The irony, as the post frames it, is that the “no code to exploit” marketing became the bridge’s most damaging liability once the exploit materialized.
