According to Maartunn, the treasury has remained in profit for only about 10 days, while spending nearly five months in losses. This contrast highlights how market timing and broader price trends have significantly influenced the outcome of one of the most ambitious institutional XRP accumulation strategies. 

Key Points 

J.A. Maartunn of CryptoQuant notes that Evernorth’s XRP treasury has been in profit for only about 10 days and in losses for 5 months. 

Accumulation began before the official announcement in October 2025, shortly after the October 10 market crash. 

The treasury saw brief profits between late October and mid-November, but has been in sustained losses ever since. 

Within this period, XRP’s price dropped from around $2.40 to $1.45, reducing Evernorth’s XRP portfolio’s value.

In its latest assessment, cryptocurrency analysis company MakroVision highlighted critical levels regarding Bitcoin price movements.

According to the analysis, although Bitcoin has shown a gradual recovery after the recent sharp sell-off, it continues to trade just below a decisive resistance zone in the short term.

MakroVision noted that the $72,000 to $75,000 range has become the focal point of the market. While a break above this level could accelerate the uptrend, the current price action does not yet confirm a strong trend reversal.

The analysis noted that the overall technical outlook remains bearish. While Bitcoin is currently in a “technical recovery” phase after previously breaking through key support levels, the fact that the price has moved away from the $59,000 level and is beginning to test critical zones again is considered a positive development in the short term. However, whether this rise will be sustainable will depend on overcoming the resistance zone.

In the assessment of support and resistance levels, the $59,000–$61,000 range stands out as the main support zone. It is stated that if this level is maintained, the recovery may continue, while a potential downward break could rapidly increase selling pressure, potentially leading to a retest of lows. On the other hand, the $72,000–$75,000 range is identified as the most critical resistance zone, and a sustained break above this level could potentially push the price up to $85,500 and then to $91,700.

According to MacroVision, the most critical scenario in the short term will be whether Bitcoin can regain the $72,000–$75,000 range. Breaking above this level would be considered a strong signal of recovery, while the current rejection from this level suggests that the move may still be a reactio

The trend of publicly traded companies adopting crypto treasury strategies may have started with Bitcoin, but it has since expanded to a wide variety of digital assets—including the second-largest crypto asset by market cap, Ethereum.

Now the race to accumulate $ETH is on, led by key figures like Fundstrat’s Tom Lee and Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin, who are championing public firms as they rally around Ethereum and its future.

Per StrategicETHReserve.xyz, public entities with Ethereum treasuries maintain more than 7.3 million $ETH valued at more than $16 billion, as of this writing, and over 6% of the entire supply. These are the biggest holders as of this writing.

1. BitMine Immersion Technologies

Led by crypto bull and Fundstrat CIO Tom Lee, BitMine Immersion Technologies burst onto the scene at the end of July 2025 when the firm detailed plans for an Ethereum treasury. (Disclosure: Lee is one of several angel investors in prediction market Myriad, which is operated by Decrypt’s parent company, Dastan.)

Formerly focused on Bitcoin mining, BitMine (BMNR) first secured a $250 million private investment in public equity (PIPE) fundraising round to begin its $ETH purchases.

Since that time, it hasn’t looked back, acquiring 4,595,562 $ETH, worth around $10 billion as of this writing. The pile has grown so large at BitMine that the firm now ranks as the second-largest crypto treasury of any kind, trailing only Bitcoin behemoth Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) with its nearly $54 billion stash.
