Sell Bitcoin Now? Trader Warns of Drop to $48K Before May Comeback

Crypto Jack warns Bitcoin could drop to $48K after failing to break above $75K resistance.

Rising US-Iran tensions and seized cargo ship increase uncertainty, putting pressure on crypto market sentiment.

Since the US–Iran conflict began, the overall market has been under pressure, and crypto has been hit the hardest. Now, a popular trader, Crypto Jack, is warning investors to sell bitcoin now. 

Bitcoin is showing signs of weakness after failing to break above $75K. And crypto Jack believes Bitcoin could fall to $48K before recovering in May.

Here’s why he thinks a drop could happen soon.

One of the biggest concerns right now is rising tension between the US and Iran. Reports suggest Iran may skip the second round of peace talks scheduled for April 20 in Pakistan, even as US Vice President JD Vance is expected to lead the US delegation.

Tensions increased after the US seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran called a “violation of the ceasefire” and has promised to respond to.

Iran said Tehran may not join the talks unless the US lifts its blockade.

他把这条技术线索回溯到早期神经网络研究,并强调今天行业实际上已经接受“神经网络是正确架构”这一判断。

在他的叙述里,关键节点不是单一时刻,而是一连串堆叠:AlexNet、Transformer、ChatGPT、reasoning 模型,再到 agents 与 self-improvement。

他特别强调,这次不是只有文本生成变强,而是四类功能同时出现:LLMs、reasoning、coding,以及 agents / recursive self-improvement。

他之所以认为 “this time is different”,不是因为叙事更动听,而是因为这些能力已经开始在现实任务里工作。

二、Pi 与 OpenClaw 所代表的 agent 架构,是一次比 chatbot 更深的软件架构变化

他把 agent 说得很具体:本质上就是 “LLM + shell + file system + markdown + cron/loop”。在这个结构里,LLM 是推理与生成核心,shell 提供执行环境,文件系统保存状态,markdown 让状态具可读性,cron/loop 则提供周期性唤醒与任务推进。

他认为这套组合的重要性在于:除了模型本身是新的,其他组件全都是软件世界早已成熟、可理解、可复用的部分。

agent 的状态被保存在文件里,因此可以跨模型、跨 runtime 迁移;底层模型可以替换,但记忆与状态仍然保留。

他反复强调 introspection:agent 知道自己的文件、能读自己的状态,甚至能改写自己的文件与功能,朝“extend yourself”的方向前进。

在他看来,真正的突破不只是“模型会回答”,而是 agent 能利用既有 Unix 工具链,把整台电脑的潜在能力都接进来。

三、浏览器、传统 GUI 与“人手点软件”的时代,会被 agent-first 的交互方式逐步替代

Marc Andreessen 明确说过,未来“你可能不再需要用户界面)”。

他进一步指出,未来软件的主要使用者可能不是人,而是 “other bots”。

这意味着很多今天为人类点击、浏览、填表而设计的界面,会退化成 agent 背后调用的执行层。

在这个世界里,人更像是提出目标的人:告诉系统自己要什么,再由 agent 去调用服务、操作软件、完成流程。

他把这个变化连到更大的软件未来:高质量软件会越来越“丰沛”,不再是少数工程师手工打造的稀缺品。

他还判断,程序设计语言的重要性会下降;模型会跨语言写程式、互相翻译,甚至未来人类更关心的是解释 AI 为什么这样组织代码,而不是死守某一种语言本身。

他甚至提到一个更激进的方向:从概念上说,AI 不只可能输出代码,也可能直接输出更底层的二进制代码(binary) 或 model weights(模型权重)。

四、这次 AI 投资周期与 2000 年互联网泡沫有相似,但底层供需结构并不相同

他回顾 2000 年时强调,崩盘很大程度上不是“互联网不行”,而是电信与带宽基础设施过度建设,光纤与数据中心被超前铺设,随后经历长时间消化。

他认为今天确实也能看到“过度建设”的担忧,但当前投资主体主要是微软、亚马逊、Google 等现金充沛的大公司,而不是高度杠杆化的脆弱玩家。

他特别指出,现在只要形成可运行 GPU 的投资,通常很快就能转成收入,这一点与 2000 年大量闲置容量不同。

他还强调,我们现在使用的其实是“被沙包化(sandbagged)”的技术版本:因为 GPU、记忆体、资料中心等供给不足,模型潜力没有被完全释放。

The company unveiled a roadmap to prepare the XRP Ledger for “a post-quantum future” by 2028.

The move follows concerns that quantum computing could eventually be capable of breaking cryptography, essentially putting people’s funds at risk.
Ripple said it's targeting to have the XRP Ledger quantum-ready by 2028.

The company said that even though assets are not at risk presently, "the threat has moved from theoretical to credible, and preparation timelines now matter."

Researchers at Google Quantum AI recently triggered a fresh round of debate with a new paper. Ripple's plans to prepare the XRP Ledger for potential advancements in quantum computing come amid concerns that technological leaps in the area could one day put the cryptography securing digital assets safe at risk.

"There's a more subtle risk too, one researchers call 'harvest now, decrypt later.' In simple terms, bad actors can collect publicly visible cryptographic data from the blockchain today and hold onto it, waiting for quantum hardware to mature enough to crack it and access the assets behind it," Ripple said in Monday's announcement. 

"The findings don’t point to an immediate break," the company added. "But they do make it clear that systems securing long-lived value need to start planning for a post-quantum transition."

While some industry leaders are in agreement with the severity of the risks posed by quantum computing, others, like Strategy's Michael Saylor, have downplayed the threat. Bernstein called quantum risk a "manageable upgrade cycle."

Last week, Tron founder Justin Sun said the blockchain he helped build is also taking steps to head off future technical threats posed by quantum computing.
