Competition among Prop AMMs intensifies once again. The landscape of this segment has shifted significantly over the past month, driven by a surge in activity on the BisonFi platform. This recent growth has altered the long-standing balance of power, ending... HumidiFi's long-standing dominance and reshaping how routed traffic is distributed in the Prop AMM space.

Volume Expansion and Market Reconfiguration

According to Dune Analytics data, BisonFi's daily trading volume increased from approximately $180 million in late December to over $1.43 billion on January 21st. During the same 30-day period, the cumulative trading volume of all Prop AMMs reached $4 billion, a record high for the industry.

Other trading platforms also recorded significant increases. During the same period, Obric's daily trading volume reached a new high of over $400 million, more than five times its 7-day average.

This expansion has significantly altered the distribution of market share.  BisonFi currently accounts for over 35% of daily trading volume on Prop AMMs, while HumidiFi's share has declined to approximately 26.5%. This is a stark contrast to a month ago, when HumidiFi accounted for over 68% of daily trading volume, while BisonFi's share was less than 9%. Meanwhile, Orbic's share has grown to over 13% of total Prop AMM trading volume. Tessera's share has remained relatively stable, consistently accounting for 7% to 12% of daily trading volume, indicating a more mature and stable user base.

Pairing Concentration and Market Structure

On Prop AMM platforms, trading activity remains highly concentrated on the Sol/USD currency pair. On the BisonFi platform, 100% of trading volume over the past 30 days has flowed to this pair. На данный момент биткоин упал ниже 88 000 долларов из-за общей тенденции к неприятию риска на криптовалютном рынке.

Matcha Meta Breach: $16.8M Lost via SwapNet Integration Flaw

Matcha Meta confirmed an exploit in its SwapNet integration that resulted in estimated losses of $16.8 million and affected a specific set of wallets.

PeckShield detected the anomalous activity, and CertiK identified an arbitrary call vulnerability in the SwapNet router that enabled unauthorized transfers.

The attacker swapped $10.5 million in USDC for 3,655 ETH on Base and used a bridge to move the funds to Ethereum; Matcha suspended SwapNet and revoked its permissions.

Matcha Meta confirmed a security incident linked to its integration with SwapNet that led to estimated losses of $16.8 million. The episode was limited to a specific subset of users and did not compromise the entire wallet base of the DEX aggregator.

The initial alert came from the security firm PeckShield, which detected anomalous activity associated with SwapNet contracts. CertiK later published a technical analysis that identified a specific vulnerability in the design of the router used by the integration. The issue originated from an arbitrary call flaw within the SwapNet contract, which allowed the execution of unauthorized calls.
The exploit exclusively affected users who had disabled Matcha Meta’s One-Time Approval feature. By choosing that configuration, those wallets granted persistent permissions directly to the SwapNet router instead of approving each transaction individually. That approval structure enabled fund transfers without additional per-transaction validation.

According to on-chain data reviewed by the security firms, the attacker executed swaps totaling approximately $10.5 million in USDC on the Base network. From those operations, the attacker obtained around 3,655 ETH. The assets were later transferred via a bridge to the Ethereum network. The movements were carried out across multiple transactions and through intermediary contracts.
