The move reflects growing interest in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, but underlying data suggests the momentum may not be fully supported by strong spot demand.

Despite the price strength, market indicators show a mixed picture. Spot trading volume is weakening, with cumulative volume data turning negative even as prices continue to rise. This suggests that the rally may be driven more by passive flows rather than aggressive buying from spot investors.

At the same time, futures market activity shows rising open interest, now reaching multi-billion-dollar levels. However, this increase in leverage without strong conviction buying raises concerns that traders may be overexposed, increasing the risk of sharp liquidations if sentiment shifts.
