I’ve been seeing plenty of blockchain narratives attract attention, build hype, and then struggle to create sustainable activity once the initial excitement fades. That’s why I’m looking at Dusk a little differently. I’m less interested in the privacy narrative itself and more focused on whether the network can turn its technology into real usage.

I’m watching adoption, developer activity, tokenized assets, network usage, and the financial activity happening around the ecosystem. For me, these are the signals that matter because a strong narrative can bring people in, but real utility is what keeps an ecosystem alive.

What interests me about Dusk is the possibility of privacy becoming useful infrastructure for financial markets rather than simply another feature that sounds good in a crypto pitch. If Dusk can attract developers, bring meaningful assets on-chain, and create consistent economic activity, I think the long-term opportunity becomes much more interesting.

I’m not assuming that happens automatically. Privacy infrastructure still needs users, liquidity, applications, and strong incentives to keep growing. If Dusk can connect all of those pieces, DUSK could develop a much stronger long-term story than a typical privacy-focused token.

For me, adoption will ultimately matter more than the narrative.
