CEA Industries has reached a cooperation agreement with YZi Labs, ending a months-long proxy fight over the governance of the BNB treasury company. 






Summary






CEA Industries ended its proxy fight with YZi Labs through a new cooperation agreement Tuesday.



Ella Zhang, Alex Odagiu and Matthew Roszak joined CEA’s board as new directors immediately.



The deal adds a CEO search process while Odagiu takes an interim president role.








The Nasdaq-listed firm said the agreement took effect on June 23 and brings new digital asset experience to its board.

Under the deal, CEA appointed YZi Labs head Ella Zhang, YZi Labs investment partner Alex Odagiu and Bloq co-founder Matthew Roszak as directors. They join existing board members Carly E. Howard, Annemarie Tierney and Glenn Tyranski.

“Today’s agreement between the Board and YZi Labs reflects the kind of constructive, forward-looking collaboration that creates real value for BNC and its stockholders,” said Carly E. Howard, chair of the board of CEA Industries.




YZi Labs ends proxy contest



The agreement ends YZi Labs’ consent solicitation against CEA. YZi Labs also agreed to withdraw related books and records demands and record date requests. The firm will follow voting commitments and standstill provisions under the deal.



The two sides will also jointly search for another independent director. CEA said the candidate should have experience in digital assets, capital markets and public company governance.



The settlement marks a shift after months of public pressure. YZi Labs had pushed for board changes after raising concerns about CEA’s governance and its management of the BNB treasu

Based on the price action, further bearish continuation appeared likely. Such a continuation may have already begun over the past 24 hours. The DeFi token shed 5.74% in 24 hours, and its daily trading volume was up 23%. Additionally, the Open Interest has crept lower by 6.20%.

Together, the volume signs point toward intensifying selling pressure. Examining longer-term price trends can help explain why AAVE is likely to trade at lower levels in the coming weeks.

Reasons why AAVE bears are in control
Recently, AMBCrypto reported a Grayscale Research prediction that Aave could trade at $175. The report suggested that the token was currently fairly priced based on the conventional discounted cash flow [DCF] analysis.

However, in the scenario where regulatory clarity accelerates tokenized asset adoption, AAVE’s price could go to the aforementioned target.The price structure was bearish on the 1-day timeframe after breaking the $85.05 low toward the end of May [orange]. The OBV has been in a downtrend in 2026, with some gains made in April and May. This indicated a brief spurt of buying, but not enough to change the long-term trend.

The $77.95 and $51.81 levels were key horizontal ones from the previous cycle. They served as support back in 2023 and 2024, but the former was tested as resistance in recent days. AAVE faced rejection at $78 and is likely to go towards $50 next.

An analysis shared by Cryptoquant on June 23 showed a split in positioning on Gate crypto exchange, with select altcoins recording stronger outflows than inflows while other cryptocurrencies attracted increased deposits. The findings were based on the Gate Netflow Heatmap, which tracks inflows and outflows across multiple crypto assets.

The data showed a group of tokens recording stronger outflows than inflows, a pattern often associated with accumulation activity.

The analyst explained:

“Some altcoins are leaving Gate more than others. This may be an early sign of accumulation.”

The analysis identified several assets showing stronger outflows than inflows, including voyager token (VGX), amp (AMP), 0x (ZRX), the sandbox (SAND), quant (QNT), yearn.finance (YFI), YFF, chiliz (CHZ), aavegotchi (GHST), decentraland (MANA), jasmycoin (JASMY), and compound (COMP). Exchange withdrawals can indicate that investors are moving holdings into private wallets rather than keeping them available for immediate trading.

Investors may be prioritizing these assets for accumulation and future speculation, according to the analysis. Those positions were reflected in the stronger outflow activity observed on Gate.
Several Major Tokens Record Stronger Exchange Deposits

Not all assets followed the same pattern. Several prominent cryptocurrencies registered larger inflows than outflows during the period examined, suggesting a different set of market behaviors among traders.

Tokens showing stronger inflows into Gate included 1INCH, chainlink (LINK), ether ( ETH), uniswap (UNI), adventure gold (AGLD), and artificial superintelligence alliance (FET), according to the analysis.
