When hiring holds and firing stays contained, the Fed keeps the room it needs to keep policy tight, and Bitcoin has spent two years trading as a liquidity-sensitive instrument that responds to the expected path of interest rates far more than to whether a given economic print sounds encouraging to the people inside it.

Each of those labor numbers feeds directly into the market's running estimate of what the Fed will do next, which is how a weekly jobless claims report ended up affecting the crypto market.

The attacker swiftly bridged the stolen funds to Ethereum, a common tactic used to obscure the trail and access more liquid markets. Once on Ethereum, the hacker deposited 633.4 $ETH into Tornado Cash, a privacy mixer that complicates fund tracing.

This incident adds to a growing list of exploits targeting decentralized finance protocols in 2025. While PancakeSwap itself has not confirmed the root cause, the attack underscores persistent vulnerabilities in liquidity pools, particularly those involving less established token pairs. The use of Tornado Cash, which has faced regulatory scrutiny globally, also highlights ongoing challenges in enforcing anti-money laundering measures within DeFi.

In a June 20 X post, Zip said $BTC’s nearest local resistance on the H4 chart sits around $64,100, with the zone coming from both a 1:1 correction and the first key Fibonacci measurement at 38.2%.

That type of level matters because it gives traders a clean reaction point. If $BTC reaches the area and rejects sharply, it would suggest that the bounce is still being capped by sellers. If price accepts above it, however, the setup could shift toward a stronger recovery structure, especially if volume and follow-through improve.
