Like the rest of the altcoin market, the coin has been falling throughout the year, posting an 86% drawdown and setting a new low around $0.3. After that, the asset entered a small trading range and is now attempting to break out of it to the upside.

Trading volumes have increased slightly, allowing for a breakout above the MA200 moving average, but there are strong doubts about its ability to hold above that level.

SpaceX’s Mascot Shiba Dog Adds $50 Million to a Parody Token
ASTEROID token jumped more than 137% in a week after SpaceX listed its Asteroid Shiba plush on its online store.

The token briefly added more than $60 million in market value, riding renewed attention around the Polaris Dawn mascot.

SpaceX is tied to the plush toy, not the token. ASTEROID remains an unofficial meme coin with no confirmed backing from SpaceX, Musk, or Liv Perrotto’s family.

A Shiba Inu plush toy on SpaceX’s online store has sent a parody crypto token or meme coin into another sharp rally.

Asteroid Shiba, an Ethereum-based meme coin built around the “Asteroid” plush from SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission, jumped more than 137% over the past week, according to CoinGecko. 

Its market value briefly climbed from roughly $22 million at its weekly low to about $86 million at the peak, before cooling to around $60 million.

Has Bitcoin found a price bottom? – Historic signal hints at BTC’s reboundBitcoin [BTC] may have found a bottom after liquidity outflows that began in October 2025 wiped $1.04 trillion from the market at presstime.

The latest readings suggest the asset could be forming that bottom, with a rally possible off the structural base built over the past day.

CVDD signals a value floor
Cumulative Value Days Destroyed (CVDD) weighs destroyed coin days across BTC‘s history against the current market value. The metric estimates Bitcoin’s fair-value floor by accounting for the behavior of long-term holders.

At the time of writing, CryptoQuant data showed Bitcoin’s CVDD had dipped into an extremely low region, printing a reading of 0.3.Levels like this have marked price tops and bottoms on several occasions, notably in 2019 and 2022.In each case, price plunged to this zone before a major rebound followed, carrying the asset toward a new high.

Should that pattern repeat, Bitcoin’s swing between $60,000 and $64,000 over the past weeks may mark the bottom.That base would stand as the floor the asset builds from for now.

Bitcoin holds its 200-week structural support
On the weekly timeframe, Bitcoin is trading on its 200-week SMA (simple moving average), a level that has acted as support in the past and powered earlier rallies. The last time Bitcoin dropped to this level, it consolidated along the line for months between July 2022 and October 2023.

That stretch was followed by a significant increase, which ranged from $27,112 to approximately $73,777. Notably, Bitcoin is trading in the same range as before, with no indication of which way it will break.

The path could result in a quick rebound or another extended consolidation.

Bitcoin Network Activity Erupts After Iran Peace Deal: Is The Bottom In For BTC?
Bitcoin network activity index crossed above its 365-day moving average for the first time since December 2024, entering what CryptoQuant research news officially classifies as a bull phase, the same threshold that preceded significant price advances in 2024 and 2025.

Daily Bitcoin transactions have exceeded 800,000 in 2026, more than doubling from 2025 lows, and the network activity index has jumped from roughly 3,320 to approximately 3,600. BTC price at time of writing sits at $62,500, down 2.5% over 24 hours.

The timing carries macro weight. Partial de-escalation from the Iran peace deal has removed some of the geopolitical risk premium that had been suppressing risk appetite across crypto markets, with BTC holding just above the 200-week SMA near $62,000, a level that has historically functioned as long-cycle support.

The combination of a bull-phase network signal and a macro tailwind makes the bottom question legitimate. What the data actually shows, however, is more complicated than the headline implies.

Strip out the price action, and something structurally notable is happening underneath. Whether it is signal or noise is the entire question.
