Experienced Analyst Sets $1,060 Target for Ethereum (ETH) and Predicts What Might Happen NextCrypto analyst Ali Martinez made noteworthy assessments regarding the long-term price outlook for Ethereum ($ETH). According to Martinez, $ETH is currently trading at a price close to the levels it was at in March 2021.

The analyst noted that this situation points to a significant picture for Ethereum investors. Martinez stated that an investor who invested $10,000 in $ETH five years ago would have approximately the same value today. Accordingly, despite experiencing high volatility, strong bull markets, and deep bear market liquidations in the last five years, Ethereum has not shown a net gain compared to this starting level.

Martinez stated that following this widespread structural reset, the $1,060 level stands out as a key value zone to watch for Ethereum. According to the analyst, if $ETH successfully defends this macro support level, a recovery towards $2,850 and even $4,630 could be possible in the short to medium term.

Martinez also issued warnings regarding the debt structure of Strategy, known for its Bitcoin-focused balance sheet. The analyst reminded that interest rates on traditional corporate bonds are generally fixed, meaning that interest payments do not change even if the company struggles, and that a drop in market price primarily affects investors.

Optimism around U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio-led ceasefire talks lifted risk sentiment across crypto markets.

The talks followed a reported agreement between the U.S. and Iran on a 60-day ceasefire framework. Both sides retained the option to extend it through mutual agreement.

Amid the development, the total crypto market cap increased by roughly $39 billion, up 1.37%, and stabilized near $2.19 trillion. Bitcoin [BTC] reclaimed the $64,000 level at press time.

Ethereum [ETH] also showed signs of recovery and traded around $1,723. However, average daily trading volume remained below normal levels at $52 billion to $55 billion. That suggested conviction remained limited despite the rebound.As markets recovered, traders gradually rebuilt exposure through derivatives. Open Interest stood at roughly $108 billion over the past 24 hours.

The rise in Open Interest suggested participants positioned for further upside. Even so, overall sentiment remained cautious rather than aggressive.

Funding Rates stayed near neutral to slightly positive, indicating longs paid only a modest premium to maintain positions. Meanwhile, the Long/Short Ratio remained balanced, with longs at 50.35% and shorts at 49.65%.Liquidations also eased to roughly $146 million after earlier volatility flushed weaker positions. That pointed to improving risk appetite.

Even so, leverage appeared to rebuild faster than conviction. This left traders focused on whether stronger Spot demand and fresh capital inflows would emerge.

Despite improving derivatives positioning, Spot demand remained subdued.

Volumes stabilized following last week’s decline but remained well below levels typically associated with a sustained trend reversal. In addition, Spot Taker CVD remained slightly negative to neutral across most exchanges. Buyers continued to struggle for decisiv

Michael Saylor, the chairman of the world's largest Bitcoin treasury firm, Strategy, has recently shared a brief story, reflecting on the tough moments in the history of the company, which have now become its strengths today.

In the post, Saylor discussed how far the company has come since it continued to witness consistent market weakness, especially in 2022, when it faced its lowest moment.

In his statement, Saylor recalled that when he gave a speech in October 2022, Bitcoin was trading around $20,000 and the firm only held about 130,000 $BTC, worth around $2.6 billion at the time.

While its stock, MSTR, also traded near $24 on a split-adjusted basis during that period, it marked the beginning of the company's trials, as the weeks that followed saw Bitcoin enter a deep correction phase.

At that point, the market conditions began to prove challenging for Strategy as Bitcoin dropped below $16,000 and Strategy faced mounting pressure.

At that point, Strategy had incurred debts that exceeded the combined worth of all its Bitcoin holdings and cash reserves by about $300 million.

This caused MSTR shares to fall from $24 to $13 in just a few weeks. The bright side is that this did not mark the end for Strategy.

According to Saylor, the company remained committed to its long-term goal and continued to aggressively accumulate Bitcoin despite the difficult market situation.

Since it remained resilient and continued to double down on its Bitcoin purchases, Strategy has reportedly raised more than $60 billion in additional capital and invested it in expanding its Bitcoin holdings.

As such, Strategy has added over 716,000 $BTC to its holdings since that time, and currently boasts over 846,000 $BTC in its portfolio.
