Custodia Bank и Vantage Bank представили токенизированную модель платежей, объединяющую банковские депозиты и стейблкоины в единый актив. Планируется, что сеть станет доступна банкам и клиентам в четвертом квартале 2026 года.

Согласно официальному документу, опубликованному 18 июня, предлагаемый токен меняет свою юридическую и операционную форму в зависимости от места хранения. В банковской сети Hazel он функционирует как банковский депозит, выпущенный участвующим учреждением. После перевода внешним пользователям или платформам за пределами консорциума он становится стейблкоином, обеспеченным денежными средствами и краткосрочными ценными бумагами Казначейства США.

Custodia и Vantage заявили, что система работает на Ethereum с марта и в настоящее время проходит тестирование с участвующими банками перед запланированным запуском в конце этого года. Компании заявили, что Hazel разработана для поддержки токенизированных депозитов, стейблкоинов и других финансовых активов на основе блокчейна через общую банковскую инфраструктуру.

 Вместо того чтобы требовать от банков полной модернизации существующих систем, в официальном документе говорится, что Hazel работает параллельно с текущим основным банковским программным обеспечением, платежными системами и инфраструктурой распределенных реестров.
