Solana has rallied more than 20% from its June low before retreating from a major resistance zone, as easing geopolitical tensions and rising activity in tokenized equities boosted risk appetite while traders turned cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve’s latest policy decision.

According to data from crypto.news, Solana ($SOL) climbed from a local low of $62.44 to a high of $75.60 before pulling back to around $72.50 at press time.

$SOL’s rebound followed a relief rally across crypto markets after the U.S. administration announced a peace agreement with Iran and reopened the Strait of Hormuz, a development that helped push oil prices lower and encouraged investors to rotate back into risk assets.

At the same time, capital continued to flow into Solana’s growing real-world asset ecosystem. Tokenized stock activity accelerated after the launch of on-chain SpaceX equity products, helping Solana-native tokenized assets surpass key volume milestones and drawing fresh attention to the network as a settlement layer for traditional financial products.

Corporate treasury demand has also remained a tailwind. Recent disclosures showed several public companies adding to their $SOL holdings, while takeover discussions among Solana-focused treasury firms kept attention on the asset’s long-term balance-sheet appeal. With roughly two-thirds of Solana’s circulating supply staked, large spot purchases continue to have an outsized effect on available liquidity.

Ethereum is preparing to roll out the Glamsterdam upgrade in Q3 of 2026 as it works to handle more activity on the network. Rather than adding new features, the upgrade focuses on improving how Ethereum [ETH] processes transactions behind the scenes.

First, Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP)-7732 gives the network more time to build and share blocks, increasing that window from about two seconds to nine seconds. This helps Ethereum handle larger amounts of data more efficiently.

Next, EIP-7928 allows the network to identify transaction requirements before processing them, making it easier to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.

In a discussion with Coinpedia, crypto analyst Kripto Holder shared his latest assessment of Bitcoin, arguing that the market is currently going through a phase of liquidity gathering and leverage reduction rather than a clear accumulation period.

According to the analyst, the $65,000–$66,000 region should be viewed as an area where excess leverage is being flushed from the market. While Bitcoin holding above $65,000 as Open Interest declines is a constructive development, weak Spot CVD and a negative Coinbase Premium continue to point to a lack of strong spot buying activity.

“Bitcoin is currently telling me: the market is clearing, but the uptrend is not yet confirmed.”

The analyst believes Bitcoin still needs to reclaim the $67,000–$68,000 range and secure acceptance above $72,000 before a sustained bullish trend can be confirmed. Until then, he views the current price action as part of a broader market reset rather than the start of a new leg higher.

Kripto Holder also pointed to recent market activity, noting that Bitcoin wiped out billions of dollars in long liquidations during the latest correction. Following the sell-off, spot whales reportedly began accumulating around the $62,000 level, helping drive the asset back toward $67,000.

In addition, the analyst highlighted that roughly $8 billion in liquidation liquidity remains below current prices, down to $60,000. He suggested that a move toward higher liquidity zones could help improve market structure.

Following a wave of selling pressure that pulled bitcoin ($BTC) below $60,000 two weeks ago, analysts have highlighted on-chain data that signals possible seller exhaustion, which is further substantiated by a reprieve in macroeconomic conditions.

According to analysts at crypto exchange Bitfinex, the market is witnessing a transition into late-stage capitulation rather than a broader distribution phase. This translates to constant selling pressure among previous buyers of $BTC, like exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and treasury companies.

Bitcoin Sellers Are Getting Exhausted

Recent bitcoin buyers aggressively turned into sellers after the asset’s price fell below $75,000. Since then, demand for the cryptocurrency has been completely agnostic to price. These buyers are now realizing losses at an accelerating pace, as evidenced by the $1.35 billion in daily realized losses in June’s first trading week.

As selling pressure persists, analysts added that the market is in a transitional phase that reflects a typical post-liquidation structure. This dynamic often appears once the primary wave of forced selling from distressed investor cohorts exhaust themselves.

Although current loss realization levels are enough to confirm deep bear conditions, they have not reached the intensity required to establish a definitive bottom. Market experts believe that demand levels will determine whether this consolidation transforms into a concrete support floor or acts as a temporary pause before a deeper plunge.
