Visser stated that he specifically saw a signal of a “major merger and breakout” in the charts of Bitcoin (BTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Visser stated that traditional institutions or institutional capital do not have a direct weight in Dogecoin, and that he uses the asset as an “alarm system” to measure individual investor enthusiasm in the market.

Visser stated that the Dogecoin chart is technically on the verge of a major breakout. He argued that a potential sharp upward movement in Dogecoin would be the clearest evidence yet of a strong return of individual investors to the crypto market.

He stated that Bitcoin would experience a lasting breakout if it surpassed its 200-day moving average (especially above the $82,000 level); and that the $2,400-$2,450 region in Ethereum carried a similar signal.

He added that global oil stocks are rapidly dwindling due to geopolitical tensions with Iran and strategic moves regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He argued that rising interest rate pressures will eventually force the government to lower rates, which would be the biggest catalyst for gold, silver, copper, and Bitcoin.

Based on Saylor’s past posts, Strategy is known to typically release similar updates a day before officially announcing new Bitcoin purchases.

Saylor, in a post from his X account, used the phrase “Big Point Energy,” and according to updated data prior to the potential purchase, the company’s total Bitcoin reserve has reached 818,869 $BTC as of today. The data shows that Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings have increased in value to approximately $63.88 billion, while the company’s average purchase cost is stated as $75,540 per $BTC. Furthermore, it was observed that the current reserves represent approximately 3.28% of the company’s unrealized profit, or over $2 billion.

Two major Japanese securities firms plan to introduce cryptocurrency investment trusts once the Financial Services Agency finalizes the regulatory framework for such products, Nikkei Asia reported.

SBI Securities, the online brokerage business and investment banking unit of SBI Group, one of Japan’s largest financial companies and Rakuten Securities, the online broker subsidiary of Japan’s Rakuten Group internet conglomerate, will offer investment vehicles that allow customers to access crypto through their existing accounts. The products will make it easier for clients to gain exposure to the industry.

The broader memecoin sector slightly rebounded in the past few weeks but has since cooled off. However, the holder behavior for major memecoins seems to be growing steadily, though gradually.

Holders’ behavior of $PEPE and $SHIB is shifting!
The number of wallets holding Pepe [$PEPE] has been growing, with more than 1,500 addresses added in two weeks. The total stood at 553,446, at press time, according to Etherscan.

Whales’ concentration was at almost 90% of the total cap, although they account for 0.11% of all $PEPE holders. Sharks control about 5% of the market, and they represent 0.53% of all holders.

For Shiba Inu [$SHIB], the number of holders increased from 1.583 million to 1.585 million for a similar period. Whales hold 95% of the total supply, but they represent only 0.05% of all holders.

Wallets holding between $1,000 and $10,000 in $SHIB control 1.81% of the supply. This is slightly more than those with tokens valued between $10,000 and $100,000.

The gradually growing number of holders for $PEPE and $SHIB reflects meaningful but steady adoption of memecoins. These figures indicate potential price recovery in the broader memecoin sector.
