A market analyst points out that XRP has continued to accumulate for over 100 days, says it feels like “they’ve fired up the rockets.”


Specifically, Celal Küçüker shared a daily XRP chart showing that the crypto asset has undergone what looks like a 100-day accumulation trend below a multi-month descending trendline. He believes this could be a precursor for an explosive push, as a breakout looms.

Key Points

After XRP dropped from $3.6 in July 2025, it recorded lower highs under a descending trendline.

This developed into an accumulation phase from February 2026, as XRP started seeing higher lows.

XRP has spent 107 days in this accumulation phase, which features a symmetrical triangle.

Küçüker says this 100-day accumulation feels like “they’ve fired up their rockets and are waiting.”

XRP has now moved close to the tip of the symmetrical triangle, making a breakout imminent.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said Monero represents the kind of privacy-preserving cryptocurrency Bitcoin might have become if stronger cryptographic tooling had been available at the time, praising the project’s technical design and its refusal to dilute its cypherpunk principles.

Speaking in an interview with David Gokhstein, the Cardano founder framed Monero not as a marginal privacy coin, but as one of the sector’s more important ideological and technical reference points. His comments centered less on price or market structure than on a broader debate over privacy, usability and what role uncompromising projects should play in crypto’s long-term direction.

“Honestly speaking, Monero is what Bitcoin should have been,” Hoskinson said. “They just didn’t have the technology at the time, and it’s a lot more complicated to run a privacy-preserving system. But there’s a lot to love in Monero, like the ASIC-resistant puzzles, the full-chain membership proofs, how they handle the view keys.”

Hoskinson’s argument was that privacy at scale is inherently harder to implement than transparent settlement. In his telling, Monero’s contribution is not limited to a single feature, but to a stack of design choices built around keeping privacy central while still maintaining a usable network.

He cited Monero’s work around ring signatures and privacy-preserving architecture as examples of a project that pushed crypto beyond transparent ledgers without abandoning decentralization. “These are smart things,” he said, adding that Monero “was a pioneer in ring signatures” and “a pioneer in a lot of privacy at scale.”

Donald Trump’s family trust bought shares in several bitcoin-linked companies during the first quarter of 2026, according to a financial disclosure filed with the US Office of Government Ethics. These moves come as his administration advances a more supportive stance on digital assets.

The filing, submitted through two Form 278-T reports, shows more than 3,600 transactions between January and March with a total value ranging from $220 million to $750 million. Most of the activity focused on large-cap technology firms, banks, and index funds, yet a set of targeted purchases tied to the crypto sector has raised fresh ethics questions.

The disclosure lists nine purchases of Coinbase stock, with the largest transaction on Feb. 10 valued between $100,001 and $250,000. Coinbase stands as the largest US-based crypto exchange and plays a central role in retail and institutional trading infrastructure.

The trust reported two smaller purchases of MARA Holdings, one of the largest public Bitcoin mining firms, along with trades in Strategy, the company known for holding a large Bitcoin treasury. Strategy shares often move in line with Bitcoin price swings, which has made the stock a proxy for crypto exposure in equity markets.

The filing shows eight transactions involving Strategy Class A shares, including both purchases and sales. The largest purchase ranged between $50,001 and $100,000, while a January sale reached up to $50,000. The mix of buys and sells suggests active management rather than a passive position.
