After weeks of tight consolidation, $XRP continues to show its breakout capabilities. Market analyst GainMuse notes that this move isn’t random volatility, but a textbook liquidity sweep.

For days, $XRP had been stuck in a narrow channel, repeatedly testing both boundaries without real conviction. This phase now appears to have ended, with the market starting to shift direction decisively.

The real shift is happening as the $1.42–$1.44 range, once a tough resistance zone, continues to flip into support. In technical terms, this kind of reversal often signals that stronger players have stepped in.

Price recently pushed higher, late buyers were drawn in, and this liquidity has been absorbed as the market reset and built a firmer base underneath.

$XRP is trading near $1.44 after a brief pullback from the $1.49 peak, but the broader structure still looks firm. Despite the cooling-off, momentum hasn’t faded, with CoinCodex data showing a 6.76% weekly gain.

The U.S. dollar gave back all of its war‑related gains on Friday after Iran declared the Strait of Hormuz “completely open” to commercial shipping, sending the dollar index (DXY) down 0.5% intraday to its lowest level since February 27. According to data from Gate, the move marks a full reversal of the safe‑haven bid that drove the greenback higher when the U.S.–Iran conflict first erupted.
As tankers resumed passage through one of the world’s most critical oil chokepoints, positioning in currency markets flipped from defence to détente, with traders now pricing a durable ceasefire and negotiations toward a broader agreement. Jayati Bharadwaj, head of foreign exchange strategy at TD Securities, summed up the shift bluntly: “Safe-haven buying has begun to fade. That is the reason for the dollar’s decline.”

Wrapped XRP goes live on Solana, broadening DeFi access for Ripple-linked token


Wrapped $XRP went live on Solana on Friday, issued by custodian Hex Trust and bridged through LayerZero, making the token available inside Solana's DeFi apps for the first time.

$XRP holders can now use the wrapped asset on Jupiter, Phantom, Titan Exchange, and Meteora without selling their underlying position.

Each wXRP is backed 1:1 by native $XRP held in segregated custody accounts and is redeemable at any time, according to Hex Trust.

The Solana launch is one leg of a broader rollout Hex Trust disclosed in December 2025, which also targets Ethereum, Optimism, and HyperEVM. The move fits a pattern that has accelerated through 2025 and 2026, where tokens that started their life on one chain are being bridged to others to capture yield and liquidity that did not exist at launch.

$XRP has historically functioned as a payment-rail token settled directly on the $XRP Ledger. Solana has built the opposite use case, a throughput-optimized smart contract platform where the DeFi and memecoin activity actually lives.

The piece of infrastructure underneath this deal is LayerZero, the cross-chain messaging protocol that has quietly won most of the bridge volume that used to flow through Wormhole, Nomad, and Ronin before those protocols were exploited for more than $1 billion combined between 2022 and 2024.

Whether $XRP generates meaningful DeFi volume on Solana is a separate question. The wrapped asset is live, but the test is whether holders actually use it.

BitGo announced that AndX USA LLC has launched its US crypto exchange 2026 entry on top of BitGo’s Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure, giving the global digital asset platform nationwide operations across all 50 states under an OCC-regulated custody framework backed by $250 million in insurance coverage.

The US crypto exchange 2026 market is increasingly being built not by companies constructing their own custody and compliance systems from the ground up but by platforms that integrate existing regulated infrastructure through API-driven partnerships. The AndX and BitGo launch is the clearest recent example of that model working at scale.

BitGo’s Crypto-as-a-Service offering provides the technical and regulatory foundation: OCC-regulated custody, transaction monitoring, transfer workflows, and compliance architecture, all delivered through configurable APIs and webhooks. AndX plugs into that stack and focuses its engineering resources on the trading interface, AI-powered tools, and market-facing features that differentiate it with users.

“Crypto platforms shouldn’t have to choose between speed to market and institutional-grade safeguards,” said Frank Wang, BitGo’s managing director and head of fintech. “BitGo’s Crypto-as-a-Service enables partners like AndX to launch and scale secure trading experiences on top of a regulated infrastructure foundation, with API-driven systems designed for reliability, control, and compliance.”

Bitcoin is attempting to clear the $75,000–$77,000 resistance zone after two rejections in March. Options market data offer a detailed look at positioning, volatility expectations, and underlying sentiment, according to on-chain analytics provider Glassnode.

Implied volatility has been easing rather than expanding across all maturities. Both short- and longer-dated contracts are being repriced lower, as the term structure stays flat. Moreover, one-month implied volatility is at 41.5%, just below the three-month level.

Demand for protection is also softening. Put premiums have lost ground against calls, pointing to reduced hedging interest and a gradual repositioning toward a more constructive stance. The shift is most visible at the front end of the curve, where one-week skew has fallen roughly six points and one-month skew about three points over the past week.

With options now appearing fairly priced, participants are undecided about whether to capitalize on the current volatility or prepare for the next leg.

Yet flows over the past seven days have turned notably bullish. Some 32% of taker activity has come from outright call buying, reflecting active upside positioning rather than simply the unwinding of protective hedges. That buying is helping to underpin the price advance.

The $75,000 level itself has become a significant gamma trigger. Bullish flows have created roughly $5 billion in negative gamma exposure between $74,000 and $78,000. A clean break higher through that band could therefore accelerate mechanically as market makers adjust their hedges.

That said, downside protection at the $70,000 strike is still in place, with net premium still tilted toward puts.
