XRP network activity has slowed since the explosive rally that dominated the market in late 2024. As price action turned negative, new address creation and monthly active supply dropped with it, highlighting a cautious stance among market participants.

XRP Pulls Back, But TD Sequential Flashes Buy SignalA crypto analyst has highlighted how the Tom Demark (TD) Sequential has given a buy signal for $XRP following its latest pullback.A crypto analyst has highlighted how the Tom Demark (TD) Sequential has given a buy signal for $XRP following its latest pullback.In a new post on X, analyst Ali Martinez has shared a TD Sequential signal that has appeared in the 4-hour price of $XRP. The “TD Sequential” here refers to an indicator from technical analysis (TA) that’s generally used for pinpointing potential locations of reversal in an asset’s price.

The indicator involves two phases. In the first phase, called the setup, candles of the same color are counted up to nine. Once these nine candles, which don’t have to be consecutive, have been printed on the chart, the TD Sequential flashes a reversal signal. Naturally, if the candles leading up to the setup’s completion were green, then the signal acts as a bearish one, while them being red implies a possible bottom formation.

After the setup is over, the second phase, known as the countdown, picks up. This phase works pretty similarly to the first one, with the only difference being that it involves a total of thirteen candles, not nine. Following the end of the countdown, the price is assumed to have arrived at another point of trend exhaustion.

As displayed in the above graph, the $XRP 4-hour price has just seen the emergence of a TD Sequential setup. This signal has arrived as the cryptocurrency has dropped more than 4% from its $1.45 high.

Since the candles involved have been red ones, the setup’s completion suggests that a bullish reversal

Trump administration prepares Al security order for US agencies

The Trump administration is preparing an executive order that would require US government agencies to collaborate with artificial intelligence companies to bolster network security against Al-enabled cyber attacks.

The planned security order would layer on top of a growing stack of Al-related executive actions from the Trump White House. On January 23, 2025, the president signed Executive Order 14179, which was squarely focused on removing barriers to American Al leadership.

Then on December 11, 2025, a second executive order titled "Ensuring A National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence" pushed the strategy further. It directed the formation of an Al Litigation Task Force and tasked the Secretary of Commerce with reviewing state-level Al laws by March 11, 2026.

Tennessee Republicans have erased the state’s last Black majority congressional district, splitting Memphis into three GOP-leaning seats.

The Republican-controlled legislature passed the new map on May 7 and Governor Bill Lee immediately signed it into law, making Tennessee the first state to enact a new congressional map directly following last week’s Supreme Court ruling that gutted the Voting Rights Act’s racial gerrymandering protections.

The new map carves up the Memphis-anchored 9th Congressional District, held by Democrat Steve Cohen since 2007, spreading its voters into three separate districts that stretch hundreds of miles east into rural Republican territory. Nashville, the state’s other Democratic stronghold, is further divided into five districts under the plan.Democratic lawmakers staged open protests on the chamber floor. Senator London Lamar said before the Senate adopted the map: “Black bodies lay in rivers and in fields all across this country because they dared to speak out for representation and the right to vote.”

State Representative Justin Jones handed Republican Majority Leader William Lamberth a printed Confederate flag on the chamber floor as a protest.

Republican sponsor Senator John Stevens defended the map by saying Tennessee is a conservative state and its congressional delegation should reflect that. Democrats challenged that framing, noting the census data Republicans claimed to use does not include partisan information.
