Takes Legal ActionAave filed an emergency motion in a New York district court Monday, asking a judge to throw out a restraining notice that has blocked the Arbitrum DAO from moving the frozen Ethereum. If the court won't act immediately, Aave's lawyers want the law firm behind the notice - Gerstein Harrow LLP — to post a $300 million bond just to keep the freeze in place.
No hearing date has been scheduled. A judge has not yet ruled. Aave LLC has filed an emergency motion to vacate a restraining notice served on Arbitrum DAO on May 1, 2026 that attempts to seize approximately $71 million in ETH belonging to victims of the April 18 exploit. The firm argues its clients hold more than $877 million in default judgments against
North Korea and that the hackers behind the Kelp exploit were North Korean operatives.
Based on that claim, the firm says its clients have a legal right to the frozen assets.

Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), formerly MicroStrategy, reported a $12.54 billion quarterly unrealized Fair Market Value (FMV) loss, yet its stock rose on May 6 as Bitcoin ($BTC) rebounded above $80,000.

The market response supports the idea that investors are prioritizing the firm’s characteristic focus on acquiring ‘digital gold’ over traditional earnings metrics.

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, accumulated over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum ($ETH) through its spot ETFs in the first few trading days of May 2026.

Most inflows came via the iShares Bitcoin Trust, which drew $871.3 million across May 1, 4, and 5. The strongest day was May 4, with $335.5 million in inflows, one of the biggest single-day totals this year for any spot Bitcoin ETF.

On May 5, IBIT added another $251.4 million, while Grayscale Bitcoin Trust saw $18.4 million in outflows, underscoring BlackRock’s dominance. Earlier, on May 1, IBIT pulled in $284.4 million, setting the tone for sustained inflows.

On the daily timeframe, $ZEC closed at 594.23, well above the 20-day EMA at 392.21, the 50-day EMA at 338.27, and the 200-day EMA at 297.58. That alignment is about as constructive as it gets. Price is not just above trend support; it is dramatically extended from it.

In plain terms, the trend is strong, but it is also running hot. The daily RSI sits at 86.73, which is an extreme reading. It confirms aggressive buying pressure, but it also shows the move is stretched enough that chasing strength here carries more risk than it did earlier in the trend.

In practice, this is the kind of reading that can stay elevated in a runaway market. However, it rarely offers comfortable entries. The daily MACD remains strongly positive, with the MACD line at 49.03, signal at 28.66, and histogram at 20.37.

Momentum is still accelerating rather than fading, which keeps the bulls in control for now. The important nuance is that strong MACD and overbought RSI can coexist for longer than traders expect in a trend phase. Therefore, overbought does not automatically mean bearish.

$ZEC is also trading above the daily Bollinger upper band at 511.25, while the middle band is at 370.21 and the lower band at 229.17. Trading outside or near the upper band usually reflects trend strength, not weakness by itself.

But when price is this far beyond the band, it often signals an unsustainably fast pace. That usually leads to one of two outcomes: either a sideways digestion or a sharper pullback to cool the move down. Daily ATR is 41.29, which confirms volatility is elevated.
