Immediate resistance is located at 1.3664(50%fib), any close above will push the pair towards 1.3680(SMA 20). Support is seen at 1.3552(38.2%fib)and break below could take the pair towards 1.3516(Lower BB).

Bitcoin shows 2-cent price on Revolut as users report apparent BTC display glitch




Some Revolut users saw bitcoin briefly display far below market prices on Friday, with app charts showing a sudden plunge before snapping back near prevailing levels, in what appeared to be either a pricing display issue or a liquidity-related dislocation.

Revolut's official bitcoin page shows BTC briefly marked around £29,414 on Revolut’s one-day chart before returning near £58,600. Other social media posts claimed the app showed even lower prints, including near-zero prices as low as 2-cents, though CoinDesk could not independently verify those levels or confirm whether any trades were actually executed there.


The issue seemed isolated as no exchange on lists tracked by CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap showed any bitcoin price anomaly. It trades just over $79,000 as of Asian afternoon hours Friday.

Revolut had not responded to a CoinDesk request for comment by publication time.

Some users on X claimed buy orders executed during the disruption, but those reports remain unconfirmed. If trades were filled, Revolut would likely have to determine whether the prints reflected legitimate liquidity, stale quotes, a routing issue or a platform-side pricing error.

Flash moves in crypto apps can happen for several reasons. A display glitch can show an incorrect price without actual market execution. Thin liquidity on a specific venue or internal pricing rail can also produce sharp wicks if an order sweeps through a shallow book.

U.S. added 115K jobs in April, nearly doubling expectationsThe U.S. labor market continued to show at least modest strength in April, according to data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The economy added 115,000 jobs during the month, well above economist expectations for 62,000, though down from 185,000 in March (revised from an originally reported 178,000).

The unemployment rate remained at 4.3%, in line with forecasts.

Bitcoin traded at $80,200 in the minutes after the release, roughly flat over the past 24 hours. U.S. stock index futures added to earlier gains, the Nasdaq 100 higher by 0.9%. The 10-year Treasury yield fell 2 basis points to 4.37%.

The report arrives at a delicate moment for markets and policymakers. Last week, the Federal Reserve left its benchmark fed funds rate range unchanged at 3.50%-3.75%, extending its holding pattern as officials weigh slowing economic growth against persistent inflation pressures.

The data also comes ahead of a new chairman taking the reins at the Fed, with Kevin Warsh expected to soon be confirmed by the Senate to replace Jerome Powell later this month.

Bitcoin has cleared two key onchain cost basis levels and is trading near $81,000, with Glassnode flagging the Active Realized Price at $85,200 as the next major structural resistance the market must clear.

Spot bitcoin ETFs extended their inflow streak to five consecutive days on Wednesday, bringing a five-day total to $1.69 billion in the longest such run since July 2025

Bitcoin is trading near $81,000 and has cleared two onchain cost basis levels that analysts consider structurally significant, but the market is now approaching what Glassnode calls the next major ceiling.

The cryptocurrency's Active Realized Price is near $85,200. That metric tracks the cost basis of all non-dormant supply, and represents the threshold where overhead selling pressure is likely to intensify.

The two cleared levels — the True Market Mean at $78,200 and the Short-Term Holder Cost Basis at $79,100 — highlight the average acquisition price of all actively transacted supply and recent buyers over the past 155 days.

Trading above both puts the majority of active market participants back in profit, a condition historically associated with improving sentiment and reduced selling pressure, according to Glassnode's weekly onchain report.

Spot bitcoin ETFs have reinforced that picture. The cohort recorded their fifth consecutive day of net inflows on Wednesday, drawing $46.3 million and bringing the five-day total to $1.69 billion — the longest inflow streak since July 2025, The Block reported.

The 30-day moving average of ETF net flows has also turned firmly positive after an extended period of outflows throughout the late-2025 to early-2026 drawdown, Glassnode added.
