Led by the former Game Director of Magic: The Gathering Arena, it focuses on competitive gameplay, requiring players to strategically build decks capable of countering various tactics. Chris Clay, Game Director – Former Game Director of Magic: The Gathering Arena (MTGA). Passionate about game creation, he joined Turbine Inc. in 2000, spending 15 years working on Asheron’s Call 1 & 2, The Lord of the Rings Online, and the MOBA Infinite Crisis. He transitioned from technical artist to art director, and finally to game systems designer, specializing in combat and responsive system design. Before joining Immutable to lead Gods Unchained, he spent three years at Wizards of the Coast, first as a Lead Designer and then as Game Director of MTGA.
James Ferguson, Co-founder – Forbes 30 Under 30. Previously led a software development team for a billion-dollar e-commerce company. Holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney. Self-taught programmer through MIT online courses and moved to Silicon Valley in 2014.
