In 2026, Epic strategically shifted its official web presence and core product focus toward Web3-native travel services, enabling users to book hotels and flights utilizing digital assets while unlocking premium discounts, concierge services, and cashback rewards.

2. How Does Epic Chain Work?

Epic's original technical infrastructure was designed to support digital collectibles, IP licensing, RWA, and cross-chain assets. Its current flagship travel product integrates digital asset payments and token-holder membership tiers directly with global hotel and flight booking engines. The protocol offers highly competitive discounts compared to traditional retail booking platforms. Users who meet specific EPIC token-holding thresholds unlock access to premium travel concierge services, while eligible bookings receive cashback rewards distributed in XRP. Precise geographical coverage, supported payment rails, exact discounts, and reward distributions are subject to actual product terms.

3. Who Founded Epic Chain?

Epic Chain evolved directly from the original Ethernity Chain core team and is currently operated by entities associated with the Ethernity Blockchain Foundation. The project website does not fully list the core management team following the transition. The Epic Official Website states that the travel transition raised $20 million.

4. Epic Chain Tokenomics

EPIC is an ERC-20 token resulting from the ERN rebrand and token swap. In 2025, major trading platforms completed the swap at a ratio of 1 ERN = 1 EPIC; the project's official conversion portal has since closed.
