1. What Is MyShell?

MyShell (SHELL) is a decentralized AI consumer platform connecting AI creators, users, and open-source model researchers. Users can discover and interact with diverse AI Agents, while creators can build, launch, manage, and monetize applications using tools like ShellAgent. The project integrates models, computational power, creation tools, user traffic, and token incentives into a unified, open AI application ecosystem.

2. How Does MyShell Work?

MyShell provides a discovery portal for users to interact with AI Agents, alongside a suite of model integration, workflow orchestration, character design, and publishing tools for creators. ShellAgent facilitates modular AI application development, while Launchpad assists with the launch and distribution of new applications and related assets. Shell Coin is the off-chain settlement currency used for MyShell’s rewards center, and is distinct from the on-chain SHELL token. Eligible Shell Coins can be redeemed for SHELL according to platform schedules. SHELL is utilized for governance, ecosystem incentives, and supporting creators.

3. Who Founded MyShell?

MyShell was co-founded by Zengyi (Charles) Qin, Rick Lin, and Ethan Sun. The project completed a $5.6 million seed round in October 2023 led by INCE Capital, followed by an $11 million Pre-A round in March 2024 led by Dragonfly. In August 2024, MyShell secured a strategic investment of an undisclosed amount from Binance Labs.

4. MyShell Tokenomics

The total supply of the SHELL token is fixed at 1 billion tokens. The token allocation structure is as follows: Community incentives 30%, private sale 29%, team 12%, ecosystem & treasury 8.5%, Binance HODLer airdrop 5%, liquidity 5%, IDO 4%, advisor 3%, marketing 2.5%, and Binance Wallet airdrop 1%. Each category is subject to its own lockup and vesting schedule.

5. Timeline of Key Milestones

October 2023: $5,600,000 seed round completed.

March 2024: $11,000,000 Pre-A round completed.

August 2024: Strategic investment from Binance Labs.

2025: SHELL token launched; MyShell advanced ShellAgent, Launchpad, and its creator economy ecosystem.

2025-2026: Expanding AI Agent creation, distribution, off-chain reward settlement, and community governance.
