CleanCore Solutions announced that it has abandoned its Dogecoin reserve accumulation strategy. It sold all its $DOGE holdings for $33 million and directed the proceeds towards the development of an artificial intelligence project. This was previously reported by Cryptoslate.
"Within our treasury segment, we owned and managed a Dogecoin portfolio in accordance with our digital asset management strategy. On July 20, 2026, we sold virtually all 463 million Dogecoin, receiving a total of approximately $33.4 million," states the CleanCore report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Cleaning company CleanCore adopted its $DOGE accumulation strategy in September 2025. It conducted a $175 million private stock placement to form the Dogecoin reserve. Attorney Alex Spiro, who previously represented the interests of Elon Musk, Jay-Z, and Alec Baldwin, was appointed head of this structure.
In October 2025, the balance of the Doge treasury held 710 million $DOGE, valued at $147.8 million. This was the largest corporate holder of the memecoin at that time. In its SEC filing, the company clarified that it terminated all crypto asset management agreements in early March 2026.
CleanCore decided to allocate $140 million to create an AI data center in Minnesota. This amount includes the proceeds from the $DOGE sales.
Dogecoin currently ranks tenth in the list of largest cryptocurrencies with a market capitalization of $15.6 billion. In recent days, the price of $DOGE followed the market's upward movement but has fallen by 3% over the past 24 hours.
The memecoin's price fluctuates around $0.09 as of 18:00 Moscow time on August 24. This is 88% below its all-time high of $0.73 recorded in May 2021.
