peaq and Allora have integrated an AI-based prediction system for robots and devices running on peaqOS. Devices can now receive Allora predictions and use them in decision-making. Furthermore, they can participate in the network themselves as computational nodes and earn rewards for generating predictions.
Allora is a decentralized AI network where various models compete to provide the most accurate predictions of future events. The results of the models are compared with what happens in reality, after which the network determines which ones perform better. Currently, Allora has over 288,000 models and 55 active areas for prediction.
peaq is a blockchain platform for the economy of autonomous devices. Through peaqOS, devices can connect to Allora using robotic.sh. All device actions are linked to a single digital identifier—from receiving predictions to participating in the network as a computational node.
The integration's functionality was demonstrated using the humanoid robot Unitree G1. After finishing a shift in a warehouse, the robot can use an Allora prediction to determine the optimal moment to convert earned funds. When the robot is idle, its computational power can be utilized to generate predictions and earn rewards for it.
Thus, devices can not only use AI to solve tasks but also become a source of computational resources and predictions. When a robot needs additional information, it can consult Allora predictions, and during free time, it can use its computational power to support the network.
