SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce Opposes Enforcement Action Against NFTs

SEC Commissioners Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda have objected to the agency's enforcement action treating NFT sales as securities. Earlier, SEC charged Impact Theory with conducting unregistered securities token sales through NFTs, and the project was ordered to pay a $6.1 million fine and agreed to stop its existing business activities.
