US judge to hear SBF's defense of newly released evidence

On August 25th, a US federal judge heard arguments from SBF regarding a new batch of evidence provided by the US Department of Justice (DoJ). SBF's lawyers claimed that the additional 4 million pages of evidence released are insufficient given the trial is less than six weeks away, scheduled for October 3rd. On August 26th, Judge Lewis Kaplan issued an order requiring the government to respond to SBF's legal team's letter regarding their proper access to discovery material and to prevent the government from using evidence produced after July 1st.
