Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 Mining Corp. announced a full stock-for-stock merger with U.S. Data Mining Group. The new company resulting from the merger will be named "Hut 8 Corp." and will be a registered entity in the United States. "Hut 8 Corp." has already submitted a revised registration statement on Form S-4 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. However, completion of the transaction is still subject to regulatory approval, shareholder approval, court approval, and other customary closing conditions.
