Blockstream's Core Lightning Introduces Splicing Feature

Blockstream's Core Lightning has launched the Splicing feature, providing a cheaper and simplified user experience for building and using its Bitcoin Lightning wallet. Splicing technology allows users to add or remove funds to a single channel, eliminating the need for each user to have multiple channels and improving liquidity. This feature also allows wallet providers to abstract the differences between users' on-chain Bitcoin and Lightning Network balances by creating a unified wallet, greatly reducing the difference between the two.
