Atomic Wallet faces lawsuit over $100 million lost in hack

Dozens of high net worth investors from Russia and CIS countries have participated in a collective lawsuit against Atomic Wallet. The lawsuit is coordinated by German lawyer Max Gutbrod and Boris Feldman, co-founder of Moscow legal technology company Destra Legal. These lawyers represent about 50 clients who lost a total of $12 million in the Atomic Wallet leak two months ago. Atomic Wallet, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, suffered a massive attack worth $100 million in mid-June 2023. The leak affected at least 5,500 crypto accounts on the platform.
