Bitcoin Core Developer Luke Dashjr Submits Drivechain Implementation Draft

Bitcoin core developer Luke Dashjr submitted a draft implementation of Drivechain. Luke Dashjr stated that this is not a standalone sidechain database (which may lead to difficult review/testing consistency issues), but rather reserves the 8 MSBs (most significant bits) that are unavailable in UTXO indexes for non-UTXO database entries, and shares the existing UTXO database and cache layer. Using these new primitives, the Drivechain can be re-implemented using a UTXO-like model.
