Exactly Protocol: currently trying to communicate with the attackers to return the stolen assets

DeFi lending protocol Exactly Protocol announced on social media X that its peripheral contract DebtManager was manipulated yesterday. The attacker injected a malicious market contract address, bypassed permission checks, executed malicious recharge functions, and stole user recharge assets. Approximately $7.3 million was stolen. Currently, efforts are being made to communicate with the attacker to return the stolen assets, and a report has been submitted to the police. In addition, our team is actively working with Chainalysis and other security teams to identify the attacker and take appropriate measures. A message has been sent to the hacker to discuss possible follow-up steps.
