RECUR to Discontinue Platform, Plans to Move Metadata to Filecoin

RECUR, a Web3 platform known for popular IPs like Rugrats and Hello Kitty, has announced the discontinuation of its platform due to unforeseen challenges and shifts in the business landscape. The platform will be deprecated on November 16, 2023, and users can cash out their balances using the USDC feature until then. NFT owners on RECUR are advised to transfer their assets to self-custodial wallets before November 16, as transfers across different blockchains will no longer be possible. RECUR plans to move all NFT media and related metadata to IPFS by November 22, 2023, to ensure continuous retrievability of data.
