Silo Launches Silo Llama, a New Risk-Insulated Money Market Focused on crvUSD on Ethereum

On August 18th, Silo, a risk-isolated currency market on Ethereum and Arbitrum, announced the launch of Silo Llama on the Ethereum mainnet. Silo Llama is a branch of the original Silo Finance protocol and only uses crvUSD as its bridging asset. This means that borrowers of crvUSD can borrow or lend any token assets on any other market on the protocol while being completely isolated from activity on other markets. Silo Llama's design feature is risk isolation, where each token asset (referred to as underlying assets) has its own borrowing and lending market (silo) paired with crvUSD. Additionally, the synergy between Silo Llama and Curve makes crvUSD an ideal stablecoin. Silo Llama is now live and can be accessed through the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of its dApp. Silo Labs anticipates seeing growth in Silo Llama and continuing to support the Curve ecosystem.
