Solana co-founder Yakovenko questions the sustainability of Ethereum L2

According to a report from Jinse Finance, Anatoly Yakovenko, one of the co-founders of Solana, expressed concerns about the long-term sustainability of the Layer-2 solutions currently integrated into the Ethereum ecosystem. Yakovenko stated that due to high gas fees, these solutions have not been built to scale, making it difficult for dApps to operate efficiently. He further stated that although Layer-2 scaling solutions such as Polygon and Arbitrum have recently received a lot of attention, they are still not sustainable in the long run. Yakovenko made these comments as Ethereum is facing congestion, high fees, and slow transaction times, which has led some developers to migrate to alternative networks such as Solana.
