Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to Launch Gold-Backed Digital Token for Retail Use

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) is set to launch its gold-backed digital token (GBDT) for retail use after its success with investors. The GBDT is backed by physical gold held by the RBZ and offers the advantages of divisibility and increased security.
