UK Regulator: 291 Crypto Registration Applications Received, 38 Approved Since 2020

the UK regulatory agency has disclosed statistics on cryptocurrency registrations. The regulatory agency revealed that since 2020, it has received 291 registration applications, but only approved 38 of them. Most of the applications (155) were withdrawn by the companies themselves, as the FCA encouraged them to resubmit their applications later if they did not meet all the criteria. The regulatory agency explained that companies must provide the minimum information required by Section 57 of the National Resources Act, and any application from a company that fails to provide the required information will be rejected.
