Doubao Starts Commission: 11.4% Service Fee on Recommended Hotel Orders From Today

According to monitoring by Beating, Doubao has started separate billing for hotel orders. Sina Tech confirmed from hotel industry insiders that hotel orders that are redirected to Douyin Laike via the Doubao entry and completed will be charged an 11.4% software service fee, plus a 0.6% payment processing fee, totaling approximately 12%. Douyin Life Services had previously listed Doubao as a 'specific transaction channel', and the new rate takes effect from August 10. ByteDance has not yet responded.
