On July 20, according to CCTV reports, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that in the 23rd wave of operation codenamed 'Victory 2', it launched a fierce three-phase attack on US forces in the region. The statement said: In the first phase, Iran attacked and destroyed US drone maintenance and repair facilities at the Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain; in the second phase, Iran struck targets at the Salman Port in Bahrain; in the third phase, Iran targeted facilities at the Arifjan US military base in Kuwait.
