Why did WLD fall by 9% after World Foundation raised $52.5M via token sale?WLD's selling pressure tripled in June and it has not fully reverted yet.The World Foundation, the non-profit organization that governs the World network (formerly Worldcoin), has raised $52.5M to advance the network. However, the deal soon triggered a 9% WLD token price crash. 

According to the organization, the deal was made possible by selling WLD tokens to strategic investors including Pantera Capital, Selini Capital, Bain Capital Crypto, and Eightco Holdings. 

On-chain data showed that the non-profit transferred 217.4M WLD, with analysts estimating that the token’s sale price was $0.2415 per WLD. 
That would translate to a 30% discount from the press time price level of $0.3445 or a whopping 40% discount from WLD’s price of $0.386 on Friday, before the update went public. 

However, for its part, the World Foundation insisted the deal was based on the market price.

Monero (XMR) Price Eyes $400 Resistance—Is the Privacy Narrative Making a Comeback?
Monero ($XMR) has gained over 11% this week, making it one of the best-performing tokens in the crypto market. The rally has pushed the $XMR price back toward the $375–$380 resistance zone after weeks of steady accumulation. Rising market participation has strengthened the recovery, while renewed discussions around privacy-focused cryptocurrencies have added to the bullish narrative. The key question now is whether buyers can force a breakout or face another rejection at this long-standing resistance.

Monero Price Analysis: Breakout or Another Rejection?

Monero has extended its recovery after forming a series of higher lows throughout July, bringing the token back to the $375–$380 resistance zone. This area has capped every major rally since February, making it the most important level for bulls to reclaim. A decisive daily close above this supply zone could confirm a breakout and pave the way toward $423, with the next major upside target near $478. However, another rejection could trigger a pullback toward the $316 support before buyers attempt another breakout.
Supporting the bullish case, On-Balance Volume (OBV) has started trending higher, indicating steady accumulation as $XMR approaches resistance. The RSI has climbed above 65, reflecting strengthening bullish momentum, although it is nearing overbought territory where short-term profit-taking often emerges.
Derivatives data also points to improving market participation. Open Interest has climbed above 100K contracts, suggesting fresh capital is entering Monero’s futures market alongside the price recovery. Meanwhile, the Funding Rate remains modestly positive at 0.0098%, indicating bullish positioning is building without signs of excessive leverage. Together, these metrics suggest the current rally is being supported by growing participation rather than speculative overhea

Expert Opinion: "Bitcoin Is in a Very Critical Zone, Caught Between Two Fires"

In his latest technical analysis video, Benjamin Cowen described Bitcoin's (BTC) current situation as "caught between two fires.

Cowen stated that Bitcoin is caught between technical levels, four-year cyclical dynamics, and global stock market movements, and shared his critical predictions for the coming months.

It was stated that the Bitcoin price has been fluctuating between the Bear Market Resistance Band above and the 200-Week Moving Average below, failing to make a clear directional breakout. It was also mentioned that the seasonal strengthening window behind the rebound seen in July is expected to end within 2 to 4 weeks.

The analyst warned that, as in past midterm election/ cycle years (2018, 2022), the gains made in July could be reversed by weakness in August and September.

He added that a potential 10-20% correction in US stock markets (S&P 500) in August or September could be a catalyst to trigger the final cycle bottom in Bitcoin.

Cowen described the current market structure as a less volatile version of 2018, suggesting that a final liquidity event could occur in the last quarter of the year that would reset on-chain indicators.
